Question Essential Glue Pad

Hi all!!

I'm embarrased to say that I purchased this thing having no idea how to really use it, but I just HAD to have it. LOL! Can anyone tell me how to use it or even better yet point me in the direction of a tutorial????

Thanks a bunch!

Tracy

Hmmm that sounds like... ME

I wish I could tell you how to use it but I bought it because I HAD to have it and haven't done a thing with it yet either. I'm still convinced it was a very good investment as all my other items are that I'm hoarding and haven't used yet. I've had t for a couple weeks now but I'm waiting till I have some coated cardstock since I've heard that works better... I bought mine from Sweet Miss Daisy who did have a short review on her site.. heres the link to what she had written...

http://sweetmissdaisy.typepad.com/sa...o_essen_1.html

there is also a really long thread on it that I'm sure has good info..
its in tools and product talk a few posts below this one (at the moment)

Good luck and if you find any good tips let me know!

-Ginna

OK - let me start by making a disclaimer... I am no expert on this!! but I DID manage to successfully use mine to adhere ultrafine glitter (I just HAD to have some of the new MS line...) - I had no problem using on uncoated paper, was even able to stamp off and get glitter to stick to second image.

I inked up the glue pad like you would re-ink a normal craft ink pad, but then i had to go back and sort of rub the glue into the pad a little using the tip of the reinker and also to spread it out a bit. made sure that it was good and saturated - stuck my BIG butterfly in it and stamped away!!

Clean-up was super easy - I used alcohol-free baby wipes, just like I do for craft inks!!

HTH!! this pad really is making glitter fun again!! now if only I could keep from missing my paper in the 1st place!! ha ha!!

have fun!

I bought mine at Archivers, but I haven't had time to try it out yet. I had a coupon that was about to expire!

I've not seen it at M's but here are a few options.

eclecticpaperie.com has them in stock

A Muse Artstamps (you'd have to call to see if they have any in stock)

I've also heard that TAC carries it...

Good luck.
