Okay, so I went and made myself one of these cartoon avitars. By the way, this was so much fun!! :lol: I was trying to decide whether I'd be outrageous or try to make something that looked like me. Obviously went with the normal ol' me. But do you all like really pics or cartoon fun ones better. I guess this is more of a survey question. I think I tend to gravitate more to the real pics. I might switch back, but thought I'd try something new.
The cartoons are funny - love the Olympic ones - but I like to see faces too! Maybe the cartoon fans could switch back every so often so we don't forget their smiling faces. I
I think I don't like having to look at cartoons that much, but it's fun every once in a while. I too adore the olympic ones. I had so much fun building this cartoon one though, I figured I might as well give it a bit of "face" time. I'm sure before the end of the day I'll switch back. Thanks for the input. It's fun to see everyones opinion!!
The cartoon ones are fun - I like all of the fun ones we've been seeing (thanks, Robin) . But I really feel more like I know the folks whose real faces I see regularly.
I do think the cartoon ones are funny :lol: But it is very nice to be able to put names with faces. I agree with Sue....I feel like I kind of know the people better if you can see their faces.
I love to see both kinds of avatars. I think the variety is great! I just cannot figure out how to get one to work. I thought I was pretty good with computers, but the whole picture thing is beyond me. I have a tough time getting pix uploaded on my website too! Dawn
