Default Mad at BROWN...mad...mad...mad!

So I placed yet another order to SU! I finally got it yesterday (minus the backordered stuff...another venting topic....)...and the box was smooshed on one side and burst open in the corner with those little baggies hanging out.....I was fuming!

Then I checked my order and I was missing a lot of little stuff was missing.....I was VERY upset...called SU! and they didn't even bat an eye...they aplogized...I was like its UPS fault! I am mad at BROWN!!!!
Cory took a list of what was lost and will ship it to me...its in picking now!
I asked if I should call UPS and he said SU! will handle it....
What totally wonderful service.....I LOVE SU! I am still MAD at BROWN!!!
Okay...just had to vent....

Thanks....

Same thing happened to me today! I finally got my first order from SU since becoming a demo, and the box did seem a little "smooshed" on one side. I opened it right away and looked through, taking everything out. Looks like everything was all there, except some of the stamp cases had opened up and some of the blocks were at the bottom of the cardboard box!

Grrrrrrrrr.......I'm going to have to spend some time tonight making sure I get the right wooden blocks back in the right case. But at least it doesn't seem like anything is missing - I'll double check as soon as I get home from work.

Default check those boxes

If your stamp boxes are bent or dented to any amount you feel would be troublesome, SU! will replace them with no costs on your end. They're great about stuff like that. If you have a box that looked really beat up, I recommend you really look closely at your wheels. I had a box that everything in it was shaken up and the 2 wheels I had had broken arms. You know those things that hook into the handle. So please double double check everything. I'd hate to see you miss that return policy deadline.

Ugh. Now I"m really worried about my Starter Kit -- it's supposed to be here TOMORROW.

Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Sorry for the troubles, you guys -- DEFINITELY call SU if you're the least bit worried. Especially make sure the stamp cases (the clear boxes) are in good shape -- those things make such wonderful storage containers, you wouldn't want to be out any of those!!!

Wow! I've never had any problems like that, but it sure makes me happy to see how great Stampin up is about fixing it. I'm very proud to be a part of a company that is so proactive!

I got a box this week, too, with a big hole in the side! I've never seen this before. Luckily nothing had fallen out of it.

Being married to a UPS guy I do want to let you know... it's not the drivers fault. When they get to to work in the morning their cars are already loaded.

Make mention of your smooshed packages to your delivery guy and he SHOULD tell the loading supervisor about it. If that does not help, call 1-800-PICK-UPS and let them know. I know a lot of drivers complain about the way their trucks are loaded because they catch the blame.

I have only had one expereince like this. Last year when they first changed to the new eyelet containers, they just put them in the box and shipped them. My first order of eyelets (several different sets), the containers had come open as the box was a little bit smooshed. Needless to say it was a huge mess....eyelets all over the box!

SU was great and sent out replacements....they also started shipping them in plastic bags....that way if the container comes open, they are at least contained to some extent!

I brought that up to hubby and he said the driver should have seen it and *should* have delivered to you and waited to see if the contents of the package were damaged and then got in contact with his center so that they could get someone to take care of the problem. Hopefully things will not be smooshed in the future.

Got 2 boxes from Brown (well where I live it's White actually) yesterday.
The BIG box had one whole seam blown out. Nothing missing though, thankfully.

The second box was in perfect shape and held my soon to be cut Loads of Love set. Whew!

;)

Thanks for sharing this info. I have had very good luck with things shipped through UPS so far. But it is nice to know what to do if there was a problem.

I'm reviving this because I'm mad at Brown again! I had a hostess order come to my customer and 8 things in the box had to be replaced and another 4 things were completely missing! She said that several of the sets were open and scattered all over the bottom of the box and one of the sets (Everyday Flexible Phrases, of course) was opened, missing the box and it looked like the rubber had been run over! Almost all the cardstock ordered was bent, torn or maimed in some way.

DS was very nice when they called, but the send the replacement stuff out by regular UPS??? Now my customers have to wait at least another week to get their stuff.

Had to vent...
