What do you almost buy, but keep putting it off?
for me:
Bellas
Papertreyink's Green Thumb
I swear I've almost ordered these 10 times and get distracted by some sale. How about you?

Cornish Heritage Farms Polka Dot backgrounder. I keep thinking I'll go to their website right after I finish reading this blog, or checking out the forums or today's addition and then I forget. I love polka dots.

Cricut cartridges, I need more (well don't we always need more) but I always feel guilty spending that much even though over the course of a month, I spend way more than the cost of a Cricut cartridge, lol.

PalVal77, go ahead and treat yourself to a Crop A Dile, you won't regret it in the least. But it may be a good thing that you held off on it for a little while. In just a few more days, a new GREEN one will hit the market, it comes with a case and tons and tons of eyelets!
I've been putting off getting a Scor-it board. I want one sooooo bad! But $60 on something that just scores paper might make DH flip out! LOL
Fun thread!

I felt the same way until I went to Archiver's yesterday. They had a bottle with a nice mixture of colors, so I sprung. Haven't used them yet. I just want to look at them - they're so cute!

up until the other day I could have added Bellas but I just broke down and bought...one! I know, I'm sure I'll be back for more but the teacher bella looks just like dd's teacher this year!!!
What I have been putting off is my SU! order...there are some things I can only get through SU! but I just keep putting it off for some reason...maybe it's because I can't have it in my hot little hand right away...who knows...one of these days I will get around to it...
On another note - I rec'd a cropodile for Xmas - LOVE IT!!!

You should break down and get the Crop-O-Dile, it's totally worth it. My item is the Create-A-Cut. I really want to try before I buy, but there is no place to try. And it's SOOOO much $!

Crop-a-dile : I've looked, touched, and put it back so many times I can't even count! I just can't decide, I have no problems punching holes and setting eyelets etc. the way I've always done it, smack it with a hammer ~ no big deal! So the only difference I can make out is that it's silent. However, now that it's coming out in green (my fav color) that just may push me over the edge!
The other thing I really want but am having a difficult time with is the "Create-a-Cut". Seems to be a bit spendy, but if I could see it in person and try it out ~ it may change my mind.

I resist many new things, but I got the Crop-o-dile.... It's simply amazing. You NEED it if you are using eyelets. ;)
What I keep almost getting is All Through the Year by SU, but it's always dropped off when I go over my budget. Hope it doesn't retire.

The oak leaves backgrounder from CHF. That's been on my wishlist since the very first time I saw it over a year ago and I still haven't got it. Also the swap/RAK stamp set from Gel-a-tins, a bunch of stamps from The Cat's Pajamas, and SU's Happy Everything
Others items that have been on my wishlist for at least six months but only got within the past week:
-a Chinese zodiac stamp set
-Ultra Clean
-stamp scrubber pad
-a Tombow marker

The cow with chicks stamps from penny black, I can't get myself to spend over $10 for just one stamp. I had it in my shopping basket so many times and then didn't get it. Maybe next time they have a sale on them...
Also the cuttlebug, I need to get it. But I keep thinking...do I really need it.
Also lovely as a tree. I have the group of trees (bought off ebay a long time ago) but I really want that single evergreen tree.

You guys are funny!
What is it that finally pushes us over the edge?
I hemmed and hawed for YEARS over whether or not to get a Sizzix . . . and then, the Big Shot and Cuttlebug were debuted at CHA . . . glad I had waited, I got closer, but still couldn't quite bring myself to cross the line . . .
Then, Joan announced that the Big Shot Starter Kit was available at Costco.com and the price was basically wholesale . . . I *never* impulse buy. Never. But, when she said that, I went off the die-cutting deep-end . . . it's been blissful ever since . . . ;)
So . . . I saw at least one of you mentioned the BIGKick . . . I happened to see the starter kit for it at Costco.com yesterday . . . basically wholesale pricing . . .

I was the same way til the CB product line came out and the cost of dies became much more reasonable. I couldn't spend $130 on an alpha die set, but $35 for a new CB alpha off ebay worked for me. I got a Big Kick from costco.com and love being able to use dies now.

I just ordered some backgrounds from CHF that I'd been putting off for sooooo long. Why wait? There were just too many to choose from and until I posted on here for people to show me some live examples to help me sort it all out. What pushed me over the edge? The free shipping limit is going up may 1 ($35, instead of $25).
Other items I'm putting off? Scallop circle/oval punches. These things are huge! I keep hoping that someone will make a similar die cut that will take up less room than that ginormous punch. (I dont have a cricut or the cartridge that would make them). I dont know if I'll be able to wait much longer though, I borrowed a punch from a friend for a week, and now that I've returned it I miss it already
Bellas are super adorable, but will I tire of them after seeing that everyone else has them?

A Cuttlebug. I see all the great cards in the gallery that people have made and then I really want to buy one, but I just never get around to actually buying one.

I don't use mine for setting eyelets (too clumsy, and eyelets always get bumped off and down onto the floor . . . ), BUT, I love it for punching through multiple layers of c/s, chipboard, popsicle sticks, thin metal . . . just wish it had a longer reach . . .
