$1 Acrylic Doodly Bird Stamp
Would anyone be willing to pick me up one of the $1 Acrylic doodly bird stamps as shown in the below link? I would reimburse you the cost of the stamp and postage. I just need one of these and I haven't seen them anywhere in Colorado Springs.
Oh my gosh I had been asking for such a bird - can you tell me where we can buy it? I will look around here and if they have it I will get you one too.

I want to say Michael's or Joann's. Haven't seen them in any of my stores.
I bought this bird in Joann's. It wasn't by the rubber stamps, but in the aisle by the registers. My Joann's has just redesigned their checkout area, and everyone stands in one line, then goes to the next available register. So, along the aisle, they have tons of $1 stuff. I'm going by there today. If I see them, I'll pick up a few and post here.

If you could, I would be ever to grateful! I will totally reimburse you for the cost of the stamp and postage (or RAK you with something cool). Whatever your preference!
Linda: The bird is part of a set from Rhona Farrer. My Jo's was selling them and they are currently out of stock. Ick! I missed out but they may stock them again. My Jo's says that they do not call the manufacturer for more stamps, it's up to the manufacturer how many more stamps to send them. If anyone has an Archiver's nearby, you can buy the Rhona Farrer in sets as low as $13.99 a set and you can use their coupon they send out monthly.

Archiver's has them in their value bins -- not the $1 Joanns had 'em for but still pretty cheap at $1.99. Maybe for those of you with an Archiver's nearby, you could check there.

He caught himself a pigeon the other night. I felt so bad (as the pigeon was still alive (standing) and getting pounced on every few seconds). I finally got Rocky away and inside. I think the pigeon was just stunned (he was flapping his wings around and I didn't see any blood). Rocky's officially on restriction!
I hope you find the bird stamp; I know they are sold singly at Jo-anns. I love the little bird too, but our Joanns is so lame and hard to get to I've given up on this stamp.

Yes, I forgot to mention that Archiver's does have them in the sets as well as the individual ones sold in their clearance bins for $1.99 each. But it may be just as good to buy the whole set than just to buy individually especially if you can use their 25% or 30% coupon they just sent out with the monthly newsletter.
I found this bird individually packaged for $1 at Archivers bargain spot, a couple of months ago.
You can also get it in the set as mentioned. It is a cute set.
I plan to go to Archivers this week, and if there are anymore, I will scoop them up!!

Bad Rocky! He is gonna have to stay put now....in the house.....peering out the window like a *BAD* cat and like all of the other bad cats that go after little birdies! Although...good thing it was a pigeon, I think they are little more hearty, sturdy and strong! Yikes!

My co-workers liken pigeon's to "rats with wings". I have to admit, I would probably have felt worse if it was a Robin or a little sparrow.

You got lucky! My Archivers had it for $1.99... still worth the price! but now I wish I had the set... My Super Target had the whole set (by Autumn Leaves) for $14 something... super cute!
I would also love to have a BIRDIE if anyone gets an extra one!!!! Email me PLEASE!!!!!
Thanks so much!

Well, went by Joann's today just to look for the birdie -- it's on the way, so no big deal -- unfortunately, they didn't have a single one. I was already planning on buying all they had because I knew this thread would have plenty of searchers!
Alas, I didn't get out of there for less than $25! I bought a really cool album tote for only $8! So, then I bought another for a gift, then the Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder (been looking for that for ages!) And, two sheets of paper. And, some stickers (JUST what I needed... NOT!).
If anyone cares, they were giving out coupons for next week. Two 50% off coupons; one for Sun-Thurs and one for Fri&Sat.
So ladies in the know - is the bird in the set the same size and style as the single bird?
Suzy: The birds are the same size...just from looking at the link that Linda posted in her first message and the picture of the set that you posted from eBay.
Linda: Maybe you should call your local Archiver's first before going there to save yourself a trip if they don't have any in stock. ;) I called my local Archiver's to see if they had the Autumn Leaves in stock and they currently do not have it on the shelves.
I've got an extra birdie stamp - I guess if you all are still looking, pm me and I will send it to you. $2 + an envelope with your name/address. I only have one extra though - If I had known there would be so many people looking for it, I would have bought all 4 of them!!!

Hi Ladies! I was lucky enough to have a kind person in NC pick one up for me. For you ladies that want them, there are a couple posts above this one in which they're offering extra's for sale. Good Luck!
This one is now spoken for. If I find more I will pick them up. Doesn't someone want a giga scallop punch? LOL ....I'd like to sell or trade mine because I use the smaller one more often...

I would *love* to buy one of these bird stamps from someone as well. I've been seeing the little birdy all over the blogs and had no idea where everyone was getting them from. I'm in Canada and we don't have Archiver's or Joanne's here. My Michael's doesn't even have clear $1.50 stamps (at least not anytime I go!).
Please PM me if anyone would be willing to sell me the birdy.
Mee Tooo, Pwease!!! I'll gladly pay price, tax, postage, and gas $..
We don't have a JoAnn's or AC Moore anymore, nor an Archivers!! We have Hobby Lobby and Michaels and only about 5 LSS. Michaels had a few $1. clear stamps but were mostly sentiments which I don't need. It took them til the week of Valentines to get their $1. rubber stamps in for Valentines.
I'd love to have that birdy.. it's waay precious!! Thank you.
May God bless, Stormy

I have been avoiding Joanns - I think it is bad when all the workers know you, but I may have to drop in and see if mine has one of these birds. Very European
