By far, the pen I like the most is the SU! Signo pen. You'll find several posts on these boards about them. I think the ones that SU! sells are different than the pens you can buy online. They have the best coverage, don't skip, and mine seems to last forever!

I just bought a sakura gaze pen in black that was amazing... perhaps the white is equally cool? It's not a huge loss if you try it and don't like it...
I bought a Sakura from M's and it doesn't work. I just can't get the ink to come out now matter how long I try to write with it. My Signo on the other hand flows very well and I love it.

I guess I'm in the minority on this one, as I don't like it. Mine gets clumpy or skips. I've never tried any other brand, and the SU! one was given to me by my demonstrator.
My fav BY FAR ,after trying a ton of white pens, is Sukura white SOUFFLE. It rolls on easy and solid, it doesn't skip or scratch. It is bright, soild white opaque ink. Just perfect for doodles or journaling or writing inside dark cards. Only thing to note is it rolls on almost clear and dries to white so practice first and then just be patient while it dries.
HTHs.
I think I tried all of them out there and there is no comparison to the SU white ink pen...seriously! The ink flows great and it's really white so works great on dark paper.
Any, thanks for posting this question. I have been wondering the same thing. I have two. One is an American Crafts brand, that is OK, and I can't remember the other brand, it's bad. I see such great creations on SCS using the white gel pens & they really stand out. So thanks to everyone who has shared their "source" for a good white pen!

the white GLAZE pen by sakura is actually clear, not opaque, but my favourite is the normal white pen my sakura.. i have a signo and i don't like it...

I think I have more than five different white pens in my marker/pen drawer but the only one that stays out in my tool caddy is the white Signo that SU sells. I bought mine at the LSS because I was too impatient to put it on an SU order.
The second best in my drawer is the white fine point Sharpie paint pen. It's great for glossy surfaces, but you can't really go over your lines on cardstock like Bazzill. It sinks in so much that you just tear up the surface on your second stroke.

The SU! pen for me is the one also!! I tried about 3 other brands and was FINALLY happy when I got the SU! one.....now it's the only one. The brand is Signo and If I remember correctly, the writing on it is in another language......chinese, japanese, korean, something like that.......
OK--so I went to jetpens.com the day that I learned they sell the Signo white gel pens, and they were sold out! I guess there must have been a whole bunch of splitcoast folks placing orders that day!
Anyway--I just went back to the site yesterday and saw that the pens are now back in stock. Signo also has the pens in gold and silver. I ordered two of the gold ones along with a couple of whites...the silvers were out of stock.
Here's the best part--I got an e-mail later in the day yesterday saying that my order had already shipped!

Yes, great tip. After reading EllenH's blog some time ago about her love of the souffle pens, I finally broke down and bought a pack last week. I thought there was something wrong with my pens until I let my writing dry and "reveal" itself LOVE them! The celery green color looked great on close to cocoa cardstock, very legible and bright, puffy too!
