Mansfield Park isn't my favourite either but I still really enjoyed and I totally agree - Austen needs to be savoured rather than gulped down. My least favourite is Northanger Abbey - and that's probably the easiest read of them all.

I read a lot of kidlit (children's and YA fiction) for professional reasons. I'm currently re-reading her first book the Goose Girl. Her use of language is just stunning. A great read for YA's and adults.
