Can those of you who use and like these tell me why you think I should get them? They are a Level 1 Great rewards prize this year, so maybe at some point...that's he only thing I don't have for 1000
I had one chance to play with them at a group event, we used them to write over white craft ink on black paper to give a sidewalk chalk look; cute, but I wasn't sold. I have the metallic pencils already and they just sit on my desk. I've done a search in the gallery and see there are many cute samples using the pure color, but I guess when I already have the watercolor pencils, markers, pads and blender pens, and pastels (pearlex, on and on!), I wonder why I would reach for the pure color pencils to color an image rather than what I already use? (Many of the pure color samples I see I would think are watercolor pencils if it didn't say pure color in the description.) Also, as far as having them to demo, most of my customers already have the WC pencils and blender pens and/or pastels and are satisfied/comfortable with them.
I just need to know why they are cool! (Besides that they'll last a long time because there is no wood filler, now that is cool)
Melanie, I think they are nice. But I doubt I'd get them unless they were free! They are very rich, but to me, they feel kinda funny in my hands, and I couldn't get them to blend well. Just personal preference, I guess. I know Beate loves hers, but they won't be on my shelf unless they're given to me. I'll stick with my watercolor pencils. . . .
Anyone else??? I've been wondering about buying them too. Have only tried them once at a camp. Were very smooth, but I also have all the other coloring stuff! Help!
I love the watercolor pencils..., but i have a friend who says those pure color pencils ROCK! They are on my list..but i think im going to try and get them from great rewards...
The only advantage they have, it would seem to me, is that you could color a large image more quickly by using the side of the sharpened end. That certainly wouldn't entice me to buy them, though. :? Besides, I love my watercolor pencils!

I have pure color pencils that are not stampinup and I have to say that they are only ok and the ones I have are a top brand. I don't even use my water color pencils much anymore. I either use my prisma colors or the markers for color.
