I thought I heard they were going to be in the old Mac's building on Fairview.
That sounds like it would be fun too!
No, that is now a Gold's Gym. Archiver's, I have been told is right next to the dollar store on Milwaukee and Fairview, but the doors will open on the Barnes and Noble side of the building.
I like March as well for SWISS. Weekends are great, as long as I have time to ask for the day off (couple weeks notice)
Did you guys know Kim (StampingSpud) is now working at Archivers? I'm so excited for her! (And for the opening!)

That's right! I know I heard it was at Mac's somewhere! But they were wrong!!!
WaHoo Girls:
I will stamp anytime, anywhere, anyplace. My Stampinup Group just had a shoebox Stamping Swap last Tuesday. We used the Ada County Library on 5-mile and Overland. it was Lots of fun. I do know that Meridian Library has a large room. And we can use the Caldwell Library. Lots of ideas. March or April will be good. WaHoo we get to stamp with our Stampin Buddies.

Oh!!!! Count me in!!!! March would work best at the moment - I'm not certain I can wait until April....... In addition to the Shoebox Swap, would anyone be interested in a couple of other things like (1) I would love to get a group together that wants to go in and purchase a huge quantity of mono adhesive refills (2) I would love to get a group together who wants to go in and get some of the white coasters...... I recommend this only be open to those who attend or have money sent with someone who will be attending. Unfortunately there have been some real issues with over promises and under deliveries - or no deliveries of these type items lately..... I'm just not willing to put myself or anyone else in that position or create that kind of stress for someone to take orders from far away strangers.... I know for the most part people do come through with their committments, however, just not willing to do this.
I would also love to have an ATC exchange for anyone who would like to participate. I have the ATC album - some wonderful exchanges and would like to keep that collection going.
I also have a couple of 6 X 6 albums with technque pages - the technique pages consist of a recipe for the technique and then a sample to show the technique..... anyone game for a technique swap at the same time?? If so please let me know. I will start compliling a list of different techniques and assignments.
Again, count me in!!!! I'll be happy to help with any arrangments or list maintenance. See you soon, Lila
Also, I'm in for sharing a big purchase of mono and/or coasters.
(Does anyone have feedback on how we might make any improvements over the last 2 we've had?)
I'd be in for coasters, not so much on mono. I'm sold on the Mono Multi!
As for feedback, I hope the next one will last a little longer, or maybe we should try for simpler cards/projects? Just as the last one was ending, I was rushing to finish projects, and I still missed a few...also I wanted to just hang out and get to know everyone after the swap, but it seemed everyone had already left. I think maybe trying to eat at a buffet was a problem too. Hope you don't think I'm a party pooper, I did have fun last time!
I've had a blast at both of our events so far! I agree with Christina in that there were lots of projects in the time frame, and perhaps simplifying some would make it go faster, too. My only other thought about the Golden Corral was that the tables some of the projects were on were pretty darn small.
Hey just a thought I had as far as the food goes i have to say I liked the one at scraps and scissors alot more it seemed alot more laid back so something like tha t is what I would prefere but i was just thinking we could do one of the big subway or blimpie sandwhiches for food we could all chip in then we would have real food not just snacks because that was the nice thing about golden coral having real food that is.
Also I think I have mentioned it before but my garage is insulated so I have enough room to set up at least 6 6 foot tabels I think I can fit more just don't have more then that right now LOL any way we can always use my house I am in middleton thou just thought I would throw it out there.

Hey girls...I agree with all the things you have brought up....I think we all have had a blast so far, or we wouldn't all want to do it again.
Golden Corral besides the space, the time and all that was just a hassle fo rme to arrange also...so I would much rather do the more casual thing...I think the Archiver's idea is Great...we will need to wait until they are open I'm sure, to find out the details...and we will need a date.
As for the date...I just sold my First house...and it closes in MArch...so I will be SWAMPED with stuff for the end of Feb and beginning of March, so I really need to do it in April, I know a couple others need to do it later also, having projects in March also....is there anyone who CAN'T do it in April??
