cropping/enlarging photos for uploads??

I've noticed that my cards appear smaller in the gallery than most. I've cropped them and enlarged them but still have the blank background behind my crop. I'm not very computer literate...could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanx! huggy

Your images are being displayed as large as the gallery will show them (480 pixels high) so your not doing anything wrong. It's because your images are portrait, that you think they are smaller - if they where lanscape, they would be displayed 640 pixels wide.
