Can somebody else check and see if they can get past page one when you do a search for Penny Black in the Gallery. I can't seem to get past page one on quite a few sections in the gallery.

At the top of the main gallery page is a search function. Just type in Penny Black and you'll get all the images that mention that word in their descriptions.

No, I don't even get page two - its is still page one with the same cards. I have tried to go to a higher page and the same thing happens - I stay on page one.
Can someone try to go to the gallery and do a search for Penny Black and see if you can search through pages. I still can't seem to get past the first page.

Yes, we are experiencing some troubled searches, and other server issues currently. We do thank you for your patience while the technical areas are being better enabled. ;) Here's Daven's current update on this situation from the home page:
Traffic Jam
Some traffic-related server issues are causing a variety of problems the last few days...
General site slowness, double-postings, missing gallery comments, dysfunctional searches, weird error messages, if you find yourself doing a lot of "waiting for splitcoaststampers.com..." the last few days, it's all related to some server issues that we're experiencing right now.
Our apologies for the wonkiness, we know it's frustrating. We're applying some bandaids now and anticipate adding a new server in the next few days to relieve the load.
Expect some continued problems while we wrestle with this, and we may need to have some extended downtime later today or tomorrow. Keep checking the home page for updated announcements. Thanks for your patience!

strange, cause i can see page two.....try clearing your temporary files on your internet browser, by clicking:
Tools > Internet Options > General > Delete Files > OK.
Thanks Curtis, if I do this will it delete everything I have saved like pms, favorites and so on?
nope, this will just clear your computer of its cache.
Your browser saves images, HTML pages, and Javascript code to your computer so that it doesn't have to grab them from the web everytime you view a page. This will just make the browser download EVERYTHING that is on the page again, so you can view the page properly. It will take a little longer, the first time you view the site again, but it will speed up as your computer caches more files.
The Cache is described in the second part of my previous post. It is just so that your browser doesn't have to get the images and pages from the server every time you load the page - because they are alredy on your computer.
Deleting your cache/temporary files will do nothing to your computer.
