Default April DDD Gallery: how boring

was my life until I opened up this treasure trove of delight!!!! Not only are they a bunch of fakers, but they are good fakers too!!! I would really like to "Meet the Fakers" (ok I never even saw that movie) to find out their faux secrets. This months gallery is the best yet and I know I said that before but this time it truly is. How these fab artists keep doing what they do is waaaaay beyond me. Julie HRR is so rockin' the gallery with her "faux seaglass". Save your gas money and don't drive to the beach (the sun is not good for you anyway). Order your polyshrink from SU! and let brown use the gas. Paperclips will never be the same after Michelle Wooderson's altered clips. I have started making some already!
If you are not a member of the gallery already, PLEASE send your non-faux donation to this wonderful site and you too will be able to view all these
faux-bulous creations. You also get to see all the other previous DDD galleries--talk about gettin' a bang for yer buck! WhooHoo, come join us!

This is their best one yet!! At least since I've been a member. Each and every card is blowing me away and I truly couldn't even begin leaving comments on all the cards. DDD, Thank you for all the incredible ideas and all your hard work, all I can say is WOW!

I have to agree, AND add -- for only $20 for a whole year, it is cheaper than any magazine and you will probably get more ideas from here -- PLUS, a lot of the DD are published in these magazines anyway, so think of it as an online magazine subscription and cough up that $20 and join the DD gallery and support SCS -- Come on, I know you want to . . .

I'm glad to see a post of the gallery this month. I just came here to post about it, because, DANG!!!!!! Join if you haven't already. I think there's like 108 examples, and can I say drop dead stuff. You'll be picking your jaw from the floor. I was just going to post to all the wonderful artists in the Dirty Dozen that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your stuff!!!! I didn't post to any signal project, because they are all so amazing.

Thanks for all the inspiration. HOLY COW!!!!!! I'm blown away.

Those earrings are quite amazing!!!! But Valerie, I have to toot your horn for a moment. I sat and stared at your faux watercolor card in complete awe!!! WOW!!!!!

You did a great job, thanks for all the wonderful examples and inspiration.

Man, the DD is on fire this month.

Ok, so I snuck a peek at the gallery early today just to make sure it was there... OMG! I am awed by every single entry. Truly, this gallery is the best yet!

JUST GREAT!! I had just convinced myself that I did NOT have to subscribe to the DD 'cos I just signed up for my starter kit & couldn't afford the extra expense (don't forget the added US $ exchange rate).
BUT NO... you guys had to start going on & on & on about how fab it is and now I feel that my life will not be complete until I get on that site.
Think I can slip this one by the DH without him noticing?

I look at this way: DH can sacrifice the cost of a case of *good* beer for me to have the DDD at my fingertips for an entire year. Heck, one year of DD is LESS than the price of a case of *good* beer.

So, considering that a case of *good* beer may last at least a month, well, heck, small price to pay, don't you agree? ;)

Ok, so around my house, depending on how crummy the kids are behavin' down in the schoolyard (My hubby is the VP and in charge of all discipline for a combo middle/high school building) maybe it'd last a week!!!!!

Soooooooooooooooooooooo, considering THAT, it makes DD an even more fabulous year-long bargain, eh? ;) ;) ;)

Minor hijack coming...

Lisa Lisa - I have to admit that Lisa Lisa has been my login for as long as I remember! Imagine how distressed I was to join SCS and see it taken by someone so close - I live 20 minutes from you! But......after seeing your fabulouso work, I couldn't think to share it with someone better.

Be honest, was it the 80's that got you? Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam?!

Thanks for being a great addition to the DDD. I am so glad I joined last month. It's the least I can do for all the great inspiration provided here!

I am just across the border in Canada. Do you ever come up here? Lots of great stores around and tons of stampers.

Julie HRR is teaching some classes near me at the end of the month, I may just have to pay her a visit!
