template for calendars
I'm going to be doing a mini-camp on calendars and would not rather purchase blank calendars anywhere due to the cost. I know that I can make something off of my computer for small calendars to be decorated from my computer, but I'm wondering if anyone has a template already made up? Any help would be GREAT! I'm open for any size of calendar with space to decorate....

www.printfree.com was posted on this site awhile back mentioning they had calendars and other fun stuff. I haven't been out there for a while so I can't remember which style calendars they had.
If you ever don't have time to print and assemble calendars for camp, I sell a small, business card size, padded calendar with or without a stampable cover. They are 3 for a dollar. It is printed with Holidays marked in gray shading. Not a speck of red ink to detract from your artwork.
Have a great day!

Here are some super quick ones I made. I'll change anything you'd like. I can only upload 3 files at at time, so I will add another post in a second.
Please e-mail me if you can't open them. It's easier than PM'ing because I'll automatically have your return address to send them to. I can't attach the calendars through private messaging that I know of yet.

Don't worry, I cannot even open them myself and they are my files. I had to right click on the link and select 'Save Target As' and then save it to My Documents. I know some people aren't having any trouble with them and others are. I know how you feel though. I was anxious to have them downloaded and then when I clicked on it, it wouldn't work the right way and I had to do the right click thing. I feel your pain! I can always e-mail you the files, just give me your e-mail address and I would be happy to send them to you.

I've not seen any of these great calendars up close -- do you cut the pages in half & stamp them & then bind them w/hole punches & ribbon or such? It sounds neat just want to know what to do with them & since the gallery is down I can't look at any samples there. Thanks!

Angela, I've actually never used any of them, I just made them since they were needed. The only one I've used is the birthday/anniversary calendar and you cut it in half vertically, bind it and stamp the front/back on colored cardstock. It's like a dates to remember calendar, just lots cheaper.
The wallet size and bookmark calendars are great for stamping and giving as gifts, adding to cards or typing your business info. on the back to hand out as a business card. You just do whatever you want with them. The sky's the limit!

Thanks so much for the information on right clicking! I'm computer dumb about these things and too chicken to try. If it doesn't come with instructions, I'm out of luck! LOL

Thanks Lanie for the file. The right click is a good lesson for us to learn so we can navigate without getting frustrated.

That's not a stupid question. I only bind the birthday/anniversary calendar and I just take it to Staples and have it bound with 1/2 of a sheet of acetate attached to the front and back. It's fairly inexpensive. Many businesses have binding machines, too. Some lucky people have their own or have th Roll-a-Bind system. I guess it's just a matter of preference. I have mine bound on the top edge, too instead of the side. I hope this helps!

Thanks sooo much, Lanie, for updating these files and making the links workable once again! You are very much appreciated!!!
Added note: I needed to right click on the file... click on "Save Target as" to my desktop (or folder of choice) before they would open.

I take no credit for being a genius! DancingRain PM'd me to let me know about updating the files to make them open again. She's the genius! I totally appreciate her time and consideration.
It looks like they still have to opened by right clicking and choosing 'save target as' in order to view them.
Best of luck!

Greetings Mkayne
Not sure which calendar you are calling the "tear off" one... but Lanie's Bookmark Calendar and Pocket Calendar should be arriving in your mailbox very soon.
Have fun! ... and please share your creations in the gallery for all to enjoy.
