This is the EASIEST watercoloring technique ever! Everyone can do it.
Simply stamp your image just like you always would, and then take your aquapainter and run it along the stamped edges. The ink will run a little, smoothing the color and blurring the lines. Very easy and very pretty! If you don't have an aquapainter, just use a regular small paint brush or even a wet Qtip.
My samples: Seaside Girl you can see where I used the aquapainter on the water Watercolor Garden the effect is more subtle here...you can see it more on the flower than the leaves and stem, although the effect is more evident in real life.
I have a busy morning tomorrow, so I am posting Sunday night. If you play tonight, please wait to upload your card until Monday. Our gallery moderators are awesome and deserve a day off! If you are a Fan Club member, then you may upload today (just one of the perks of becoming a member. :-D )
Please put TLC105 in the keyword section when you upload. If you have an additional keywords, please seperate each word with the comma so the gallery search feature works properly.
Have fun, my friends!

Thanks for posting early, Beth. I couldn't sleep after watching the Oscar's. Wasn't that exciting.. my cough is just keeping me up. Thought a soothing card might help...
I was actually able to do this tonight. This is a really pretty technique and I can see myself using this again. Thanks for loading this early. Here's my card for tlc105. TFL
Thanks for this marvelous challenge, Beth! I did something (watercoloring my images) I didn't think I would be able to do. I'm actually pleased with the results!
I used pigment inks and was suprised how well they worked.
What a neat technique! Wish I had looked for this earlier, I might have squeezed one in before I leave for work! Oh well, maybe this evening! The samples all look great!
