Arrow Qbee's Fries Box Template

I created this fries box template from scratch after my frustrating attempt to alter an existing one. There are links to two samples of the fries box below.

The Word document has two fries box templates on the page. I'm always trying to get the most use out of one sheet of card stock. You can print the template directly on to the card stock. I hope you like it.

Hi Brenda, thank you for this awesome template! It's perfect for an idea I have! I just have one question....how do you transfer the lines to a piece of cardstock to, then, cut out? I know I could run it through my printer but that would leave lines wouldn't it? Thank you again! Michelle

When I did it, I ran my card stock through the printer. The lines are not noticeable, because they are right in the creases. I guess if the lines really did bother you, you could trace the template onto card stock with pencil and then erase.

Thank you so much for the template. What I have done with templates that I think I will use a lot - I get template plastic at the quilt store and cut them out. I have them filed in hanging files. They hold up great to much, much use. Have a great day! Lesly

Default Making Templates

I also use the plastic binders for my templates. Staples had them 4/$1 at the beginning of the school year. They are heavier plastic so very long lasting. At first I was buying all kinds of colors and then realized the lighter ones worked best because I could easily see my dots and dashes through the paper/cs (when necessary). Thanks again for the great idea! Cindy

This is a cute idea, but I down loaded the template and don't understand how it works. I am too stupid today. I know it is probably obvious, but help me. Is there somewhere that has some directions on it? AhHhhhh.

Thanks

Amy, You can print the template directly onto your card stock. Then cut on the solid lines and score and fold on the dotted ones. It should be pretty evident how it comes together after you have scored and folded it. Use sticky strip to hold the seams in place.

I made these fries boxes last year right before Ladybug Picnic retired. I hope that you can find another set that you like to use for your fries boxes.

thanks for letting me know...unfortunately, I looked at the catalog right after I posted (told you I was off to order!) and discovered that! <sigh> but there's always another set! LOL

This is a great idea. I was wondering if the template was drawn an 81/2 x 11 sheet? I suppose if you wanted a bigger fry box you could expand it to fit a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock.

I'm sure you can find a way to rework the image such that you can make it larger. The word document that I attached has two fries boxes that fit on one sheet of 8-1/2 x 11. If you downloaded the template, delete one of the fries boxes and then printed the remaining one to "fit the page". You might be able to enlarge it without doing too much. Let us know how it works out.

Quick question Qbee, did I see on the template forum that there is a belly band template for your fry box or were my eyes playing tricks on me?? I can't seem to find it, if there is one. Thanks!

There's a fry box with a belly band in 20something's gallery, although I don't know whether that band would also fit Qbee's fry box template. Belly Band for 8 1/2 x 11" Fry Box Template by 20something at Splitcoaststampers
