There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
The little girl's name was Mamakimberly
And she had a sister named Emilymomto3boys.
They were playing at Emily's place,
When Emily found the snuff
About a Stampin' Up! color stuff
And they were so very tempted.
The girls went online and played,
And there were some things that were "sayed"
That made people mad,
And JennBalcer found out
Cause she is a scout,
And knew our IP address.
Emily and Kimberly thought all should know,
About the info on all the new stuff.
They can't really say they're sorry,
But they do regret the frustration,
And the mean-PM migration.
And all the stuffs that has happened today.
There were no ill-effects intended,
Just hype of all the new stuff.
Two naughty girls we are,
We know we are naughty,
We'll try not to be haughty,
And beg for your understanding.
wow.. too funny.. i was driving home.. i have this LOOOONNNNGGGG stretch of NOTHING i drive through.. so i think a lot. and i was thinking.. hmm.. daven needs new moderators.. i think MamaK should be the moderator.. she is always stopping the drama with humor..
then i come home and read you started the drama.. how ironic.

I remember my days of pre-demo and hated waiting to know stuff!
It would have been leaked regardless, and we just wanted to have fun with it.
IMHO, I think getting a taste of it before hand only builds on the excitement. It's like walking into a restaurant and smelling the food and anticipating being able to eat it. You just can't wait for it to get there!
I can understand why some are upset about the whole thing, but in this day and age of technology it's almost impossible for something like this to be kept completely secret. I'm lucky... My demo is also my boss so she came running into the room to tell us when she got the news!
MamaK and Emily - you gals are tooo funny. You make me laugh each and every time I'm on here... which is way too much. Your family functions must be such a hoot! Being real life friends with you guys would almost be worth moving back to Texas (lived there for three years-the longest of my life). I agree... it's only colors... get over it. Some people get so out of joint for little things... I can't imagine the amount of stress they make for themselves. Oh well, I for one thank you, I get so excited to hear the scoop.

You two are too funny! And here I was going to defend the person and say just maybe it actually WAS someone brand new to SCS that was a demo and had to share the news. And now I find out it was you two.
But, I don't really care either way. I don't readily give this site out to customers 'cause then they would figure out that I case all my stuff. *Sshhh*
To anyone who reads this thread, please know this:
MamaKimberly is the real deal!!! She is a super sweetie! Since they are sooooooo much alike (as far as I know) Emily has got to be awesome too (I have met her and she was most pleasant to be around and Kimberly would keep her in line otherwise ;) ). Whatever happened with any info (I haven't even talked to MK yet) was meant to share and nothin' else. Believe you me, these are exciteable gals!!! Remember, this is the gal who would send you a card just 'cause it's Tuesday and well, just 'cause she wanted to. Gotta share the luv for my WIG sistah!!!

Aww mamak and Emily...you guys are a hoot...I love all the stuff you do and was very glad to find out about the upcoming changes. I am excited to get new colors, but I have all the old style pads and really dislike the new ones...but life goes on and I will purchase the new ones. Thanks for the heads up!!

Really, I was fine with the "leak." If you hadn't leaked, I don't know when I would have found out. It wouldn't have occurred to me to look for the mag online yet. I love knowing and don't see that it really does any harm if my customers find out from me or somewhere else first. Long as they know! I'm excited and I know they will be too!

Glad you fessed up...things were getting ugly on the board biatching about what the two of you did! I'm impressed you pulled it off for as long as you did and then were able to come up with such a cute poem so that no one would be upset with you...very clever

I am a demo, and I could care less if my "girls" found out something new here. Saves me having to repeat it 5,000 times. I did send out an email that said there was something new and exciting for me to tell them. Then I finished by telling them I would let them know on the 19th and 20th (stamp camp nights) If they find out beforehand, they will be that much more excited when I tell the other girls. I love your poem. When my kids are being bad and nasty, I make up new words to songs to suit the occasion and sing them really loudly. It always brings a smile and an eyeroll. So... Thank You for the smile and eyerol!!
