Who is Hiding the Scallop Punches?
Yikes..I searched tons of web sites i spent a hr or more searching for these Hiding Punches and EVERY PLACE is "OUT OF STOCK" the only place i wont go is the BAY didn't want to pay top dollar..You would think that the companies would make more since they are a HOT Item they should get rid of some of the other ones that don't sell...i almost went to the site that everyone is talking about here had stuff in the cart and a light bulb went off in my head hmmmm saw this site on SCS about how long and how the cust service was...well i didnt buy..If it weren't for SCS i would be waiting for months also. Thanks Girls.... So if anyone has a site that has them LMKP thanks

I read on a blog that sells things that the company is only releasing a limited amount per vendor on the first of every month. It is a marketing thing to keep the demand high. I don't like the technique myself, but my friend in marketing says it allows them to keep raising the prices on things if the demand stays high as people will pay more to get their hands on something that is limited.

Have you tried Marvy's website? They sell them direct to customers, but make sure you look for the "Clever Lever" type. They have the old push button style deeply discounted. I see that they've raised the price to $22.

Well, I guess I am going to pay the price for not spending as much time on SCS lately as I did in the past. I did not know anything about the aforementioned company and placed an order with them yesterday. After seeing this thread, I did a search and found out about the trouble people are having. Yikes! I went to PayPal and tried to cancel payment because it shows that payment is being processed. They wouldn't allow cancellation as it is already in the works. Their suggestion was to request a refund from the vendor. I don't know whether to do that or to cross fingers and wait a bit.:confused:

creatforless.com has some left. And they aren't too expensive. Plus if they don't have it in stock just enter your e-mail and they'll let you know when they come in.

I may decide to get the ovals directly from this site. There is free shipping if your order is over $44.00, and that is 2 stamps. Sure beats some of the sites that charge $22 for the punch and then add $8.95 shipping! |

i checked some of those sites and they all said out of stock...i even went to addictedtorubberstamps.com and looked all over there..ugh i guess i will wait until ppl get tired of them thanks for info

Just placed an order from morethanink for a superjumbo oval punch and the large corner rounder. Prices were very reasonable. Now I'll wait to see .

Someone here on SCS told me about croppingcorner.com, she was out of stock when I ordered but shipped my order as soon as hers came in. She was very nice, and kept me informed all the way.  |

I have had success this week in purchasing any of the mega and giga scallop punches, so they must be back in circulation. I just purchased the giga square and oval scallop punches from the uchida site that Kiko posted (free shipping because my order was over $40). I also purchased a mega scallop square from Joann's, and mega and giga scallop circles from golden creations. None of them said they were on back order, so hopefully I'll get my punches soon!  |

How can you tell that morethanink has these in stock? I don't see an inventory counter like some sites have...
Oh, I noticed they carry the "cadillac" of corner rounders. Gotta tell you, these are the BEST corner rounders I've ever seen or used. Always a perfect cut, you can hold it between two fingers in one hand to use, and it punches very very easily. I wouldn't be without mine!

My understanding is that the regular circle and ovals will be back in stock at the end of February and the scallop shapes end of March. Marvy is out of stock and not shipping to vendors until those times. __________________

Rita, I am sorry, but I think that is the place that some people said took them a month to get something before Christmas.

I went directly to my LSS and asked if they could get them. They put me on their call list and I have now received both the mega and giga circle punches (got them in January). I am waiting for the ovals but told them there was no rush. I can wait as they are pricey, and the best part is I don't have to pay for shipping. Also, they sometimes have coupons and I can wait until I have a coupon to pick up my stuff (that's what I did for both circle punches ~ got both at 30% off!!!)
So, check out your LSS and see if they can order them for you.

Scalloped Ovals, Circles
Hi,
After readiing this thread, I am concerned that the punches I ordered yesterday from Scrapbooking R Us may not come through. I paid w paypal which payment has already been made. Has anyone had any experience w this company???
