Default vanilla craft pad update

i posted before about my vanilla craft pad being dry, well i got my new one today, and i tested it- there is something wrong w/ this one! i inked up my stamp and tried to stamp it on the paper, and paper was clean! the ink just stuck to the stamp! i thought maybe there isn't enough ink on the stamp, even though i could see that it was covered in ink, and no matter how much ink i put on, it just kept sticking to the stamp and wouldn't come off on the paper.

bizarre. i called ds again and they're going to send me a new one again! and she didn't mention anything about hearing about that problem before. i used a vanilla cp at an upline meeting and her's worked perfectly. ???

I hope this isn't a common problem with the vanilla craft pads. I just barely ordered one and it should be here tomorrow. I'll get back to you on how mine works.

I JUST got mine tonight and I have the same problem! I guess it isn't just me. I had to really push my finger into the pad to get any ink at all on it. I know they often suggest to order a refill with your craft pad to "juice it up" but this is ridiculous. I guess that's what i get for just "having" to have one right when the catalog comes out- like when the craft pads were new with the fabric cover. It takes a little time to get all the kinks worked out of the new products. I'm calling DS in the morning to get the 411. Hopefully we'll all be stamping in beautiful vanilla before long!!

I just got my Vanilla Craft Pad, and it works fine. I don't know how long it will be juicy, so I'll order a refill soon just in case, but I tried it out and it worked just as well as my White Craft Pad. Guess I got lucky

Default vanilla craft pad

I just got my second one on friday, and hadn't tested it out until now, it is fine but the first one was so dry no matter how I stamped it, nothing came off. But so far so good on this second one. DS sent me the second one right away, and didn't hesitate, so they must be getting a lot of requests for new pads.

Hmmm, having read this I went to check out my Vanilla I ordered from convention - hmmmm, it works, but don't know for how long. Wonder what the deal is. It isn't like my white pad and I don't have any of the other pads - yes I do, I have a pale plum that I got when they first came out with craft pads. I've never been happy with that one. Probably why I don't have craft pads. Hmmmmm again. Guess I'll remember to wait on "new" things that come out. Figured a new craft color wouldn't be a big deal. Hope my customers don't complain!
