This week's sketch is a little more basic, but sometimes having a simpler sketch is even harder than having a more detailed sketch!
I loved this card when I saw it in the gallery and thought the layout and use of greeting stamps was so unique. I think this sketch would be wonderful to use to highlight some of the fabulous background stamps available. This week's featured artist is Jace.
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Location: The loop... I'm out of the loop... has anyone seen the loop?

Fun Challange
Well... I am putting my thinking cap on ;) . I will be going to my sisters on Friday to stamp. So I will make something then. So until then I have brain in gear (hopefully not in reverse  )
I've never been called an artist before! I want to keep looking over my shoulder to see who you're talking about!
Thanks, Andreasophie - you made my day!

I knew I should have stayed up until 2 am (Chicago time) to check them all out!

well, since the gallery is down I'm off to see what I come up with. just a suggestion. maybe we could post attatchments of our cards here until the gallery is back up? then at least we'd still get some inspiration from each other?? just an idea
and here's a link to my card now that the galleries are up again, still pending though. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I never looked at the original card...I like to just look at the sketch for starters so my card is not cut out. Here is one I combined with the color challenge and last week's vellum challenge (WT03).
That's beautiful Valerie!
Everyone did a great job!
I haven't had a chance to participate in this one... been working on swaps for 3 days now! Ugh! Well, no, not ugh... it was fun... but repetitive!!!

Your popsicles look like Big Sticks, my favorites! I could go for one of those right now, I just finished planting 5 tomato plants and a bunch of herbs and a I'm all sweaty.........sorry, probably tmi, but boy, does a big stick sound yummy right now!!
I asked the same question on post #15. I do not have a large square punch so I used my Fiskers shape cutter to cut my rectangles. It is hard to tell but mine is a window card. When the galleries where up and the inspiration card was posted I remember reading in Jace's description that it was a cut out so I thought that was part of the challenge. It is hard to tell by just looking. Just my thought too.
;)

I just finished making a window version. They are a little tricky to get right and the rose red didn't photograph quite right but here it is. Lots of fun.
waaaaah! I thought I was sad before with the gallery being down -- no inpsiration to stamp but now .... all of these great cards and ideas are starting to flow but I can't stamp! I'm flat on my back with a virus. Every time I get upright, I get dizzy. Waaaaah!
