I have been scrapping for 5 years and stamping for 2 years. I am so addicted to them both!! My only challenge is I now have 2 children to try and keep up scrap books for LOL

I've been scrapbooking for 5 years and a CM consultant for 3 1/2. I swore I would never start stamping. My girlfriend asked me to go with her to an all day stamp camp back in February and now I'm hooked and LOVING IT!!!
I have been stamping for about 10 years and scrapping for about 2 1/2. A very good friend of mine was a "DOTS" (CTMH) demo (does anyone remember that!?!)...I had never heard of stamping but decided to have a party for her so she could "practice". I was hooked!! I swore I was not going to start scrapping, but was hooked the first time I tried that too. The two hobbies work so well together...
I started scrapping 8 years ago and stamping about 2 years ago. There has however been periods of long unproductivity during this time because of new babies, etc.

I've been stamping for 21 years, scrapbooking for about 3 years, buying SU for about 8 years, SU demo for 2 years. I hand-sewed my first Barbie dress when I was nine. I just gave it and all my Barbie collection to my niece for her birthday last year (she's 34). Of all the crafts I've done, stamping is among my favorite because the results are so fast and so gratifying.
You ladies are really experienced compared to me. I just discovered SU 2 months ago and am already addicted! I'm getting up the courage to try scapping, o.k. more like trying to get organized so I can start.
I had a false start with scrapbooking 6 years ago and started stamping 2. I say false start b/c I was so organized with putting my photos into basic albums and then my MIL introduced me to CM and I became so overwhelmed my photos piled up for 4 years. Oh what stress!!! I am just now going back to fill in the gaps and have decided when I go through the CM albums I have stockpiled I am going back to my old system. I so much more enjoy stamping b/c you can finish one card or several and it doesn't get backed up on you like the albums do. So much less guilt involved with stamping...except for all the money I spend
I haven't started scrapbooking and I discovered stamping back in October of 2004. It took my mom months go get me to goto PlayDay. I've been hooked ever since and I mail in the paperwork today to become a demo!
Been scrapping for a little over 3 1/2 years and stamping for about 3 years. Although recently my husband pointed out that I've really been a closet scrapbooker longer than that, because I have photo albums going back at least 15 years or so which mix photos with momentos (like attraction or theater tickets, napkins or drink coasters with logos, etc.) and use titles and pictures I cut out of pamphlets from the attractions we visited. We dubbed those items 'instant souveniers' because they were easy to get and FREE...although I didn't know about acid free back then so who knows if they'll stand the test of time.

I started stamping about 11 years ago when a coworker had a SU! demonstration in her home. I didn't start scrapping until 8 years ago when I was preggo with DS.
I started stamping about 8 yrs. ago, but was never serious about it until the last couple of years. Had to wait for the kids to get old enough to have any real time. Just got into SU back in the fall of 2004. Never got into scrap-booking.
You ladies are really experienced compared to me. I just discovered SU 2 months ago and am already addicted! I'm getting up the courage to try scapping, o.k. more like trying to get organized so I can start.
Me too! Went to my 1st SU demo a year ago and am hooked. Went to my 1st Scrap Mania in Feb. and am trying to get going on that too. The organization is holding me back. (I have 45 years of Pictures to work through)
Hi!
I have a set of stamps, 381 pieces and the set includes pictures, words, letters and numbers. It's dated 1932.......so I've been stamping for..
Want to guess????
Actually my Mom picked up this set for me to use at a Garage sale when I was 6 years old. It's a publishing sort of set for educational purposes and it's to help kids learn by making their own story books. It's a very cool set, Teddy Roosevelt is one of the President stamps, that's how old this is, and it even has it's own "case". A large box, the top lifts up and the front comes down and there are wooden trays to hold the stamps and stuff. It doesn't stamp all that well, but the images are great for collage type of art.
I've only actually been stamping for 37 years. I've been a SU customer/demo since 1994.
Needless to say I'm happily addicted to stamping. Little did my Mom know how long this investment would last. LOL!!!
I was invited to a CM workshop 11 years ago, & got into scrapping. Then 10 years ago, I heard about SU & rubber stamping had a workshop & signed up to demo.
I really wish I would have found SU first, because all my CM stuff is enshrined in dust. I love sharing that you can use SU for scrapping & stamping therefore getting more bang for your buck.
It's amazing how far scrapbooking has come since I started. I wish I could go back and redo the yucky pages I did at the beginning, but so far have kept them intact for posterity.
Don't scrapbook yet, introduced to stamping and SU in Oct. '04, bought some more stuff, became addicted, and signed up in Jan of '05~ bank a/c has not been the same since

I started scrapbooking (kinda) about 12 years ago. It didn't last long. Was invited to DOTS (yes, I remember them, still have a ton of their stamps though I NEVER use them) and then turned to stamping. Discovered SU about 4-5 years ago but still didn't really do that a whole lot until about 2 1/2 years ago, I became a demo. I was only able to do that for about a year then had to let it drop to go back to work.
But I do stamping everyday now and I'm happily addicted. About 1 1/2 yrs ago, I had maybe 10-12 sets. I just received 9 sets last night which brings me up to 114. Sad, sad. (my checking acct and husband, not me, LOL)
I have been scrapping for two years and just started stampin in October but am already hooked and have spent way too much $$$$$$$$. But who cares, I love what I do and its the little things that matter in life!
I have been stamping for about 6 years. I have been resisting the pull to scrapbook because...well, it is life long commitment. However, I have succumbed to the pressure and have completed 64 scrap pages this year. Sadly, that is just my sons first 8 weeks. Ugh, I have a long way to go......
I have been stamping for about 5 years. About 4 of them serious stamping!
I finally caved in and started Scrapbooking 3 years ago.
My demo called me today and told me I should sign up under the new 30 off, but I don't want to demo, cause I would miss going to Stamp Camps and I can't see selling baskets and stamps! WHEW! TOO MUCH!
I have been a stamper for 8 years, and actually started with SU as a demo and then moved over to TAC later on. Then I have been a scrapper for 4 years, and have been seriously scrapping for the last two years. It all started with the Sizzix and was hooked on scramping since then.
Great question!
