Hi I am Hazel and I just registered on this fantastic site yesterday.
A little bit about me: I live in Belfast , Northern Ireland. I started cardmaking at the end of April this year and have been selling them since early mMay.
I have had a great look around the site and forum and think you are a great group of people. I hope I am not intruding in anyway ,
I have a drawer full of stamps and have recently just started using more and more of them. I was unsure of techniques etc and the many different ways to use them on card, acetate etc.
Hi Hazel,
Welcome to SCS!!!! It's nice to make a new friend. Have fun and just know that in no time at all you'll be as addicted as the rest of us. But, it's the best addiction around! What other better way is there to make new friends and find such creative talent? This is the place!!!!!
Your friend,
Kim
I love this site! We have such a strong and supportive group of friends here! Not to mention a great support staff.... Did I get some cookies for that one? No really they all rock and never an intrusive stamper....
Howdy Hazel !! We're glad you found us! But, you might start looking for a larger drawer ..... uh..... stamps have a way of multiplying once you start hanging out here at SCS!!
Thank you all for the lovely welcome and yes I was right a lovely group of ladies (and gents if there are any about).
Yesterday I bought 5 stamps in my local (and only) craft shop. A large teddybear (Rosevelt) which is brilliant for lots of different things, baby, christmas, birthday etc. Also I bought 4 miniture stamps which were a little vase, two different flowers and a little branch and leaf stamp.
I have bought stamps previously and they were only used occasionally and now I am using them more and more .
Welcome, wow someone who just jumps up and starts posting.. now that I like. You will soon learn techniques that you never thought of. This site is so full of ideas that you will soon not remember where all your time went.... Glad to have you and hope you have a fun time here like we all do.
No never seen a Stamping Up catalogue. I have 2 hospital appointments in the next 2 days so my cardmaking will be put back a bit , well until Saturday anyway. (if they don't keep me in) :?
