I did it. I was a little nervous about it too but did it anyway. I usually don't buy flower sets that have the stem attached, but I like this one. I also cut the "Thanks" from the 3 leaves. I had some extra wood blocks because of some sets I kept unmounted. They work just fine. Just be careful not to cut the flower when you cut off the stem.
I cut mine apart after using it 2 times. I said enough of this. I just turned the stem sideways and mounted at the other end. It's easy enough to only ink one. I'll have to separate the thanks from the leaves now. Never thought of that!
I glued mine right on the flat side of the same block. Works great! It was a very tight fit, though.
I separated the flower and the stem, and then also the leaves and "thanks."

I wondered about this myself when I was mounting mine Sunday. I think I'll go back and separate it now that I've read this. I was trying to figure out how it was all going to work out with them attached.
I just mounted mine yesterday and mounted them all in one. I was too nervous in trying to seperate them. I figure I will just mask off the part I don't want to stamp with masking tape. If I ended up wrecking it by seperating it I would really be upset. I wish I had enough confidence and skill to mount them seperately.
An exacto knife? DUH, that makes more sense. I was thinking how on earth could I use my Kai scissors to make a decent fine cut. That is a great idea Carolyn. Now I might have to take a look to see if I can do that after already mounting them.
I used my paper snips to cut them apart, worked like a breeze.

I too mounted mine separately. I used my Craft & Rubber scissors to cut the stem off before I stuck it on the block. I also separated the 'Thanks' from the leaves.
I do this quite a bit on sets that have words and pictures attached. I just got Friend to Friend today and when I mount it I will separate Happy Birthday, Thank You, etc. from the verses.
