Has your spouse ever stamped?
If so do you have it uploaded?
The reason I ask is that hubby is doing one for me now. I hear some cussing and some Ahhs and some banging around so not sure if hes redecorating or if my cards the size of RI lol.

LOL! That sounds hilarious!!
My DH made a card for his mother once and has even helped me emboss our Christmas cards 2 years ago. Last year, he agreed to stamp our return address on our envelopes for our Christmas cards. What a trooper!

My DH has stamped with me when I wanted inspiration. He has done a good job, and inpired me to come up with creative ideas. But I still can't get him to make me a card for my b-day, or any other special occasions.

My DH was in the husband swap, made 6 cards for that. And he always is interested in giving me advice about the stuff I'm making when he is around. Even spent his lunch break looking through some stamp mags that one of his co-workers gave him to give me and admitted it!!
When I get his card back from the DH swap I will post it. I think actually they where talking about putting a special gallery with all the cards posted once they are swapped out. I can't wait to see the cards!!

My DH & I joke that he stamps about once a year... and usually it takes a couple of beers and extreme boredom He doesn't sit there through the "card assembly", tho... when he's done, he's done.
But he's actually pretty good! He did "poppin' pastels" with a bamboo stamp background about 3 years ago, and I used it for background paper on a couple cards. He really got into the old Inkworx marker thingy that they discontinued--- he airbrushed all my business cards with the SU markers and even "masked"! Of course, it was his personal challenge to make "camoflauge" patterns with the SU colors...
About 4 weeks ago, I got him watercoloring the Love Ya Bunches set for his Mom's birthday card. He also did poppin' pastels with Garden collage at the same stitting. Guess that's it for 2005!
Pics attached...

My DH is a pencil artist. Lately, he's been playing aroud with my watercolor pencils. We kind of make a cool team because I usually make a card and he artistically does the names on the envelopes.

My DH actually took me on a scrapbook weekend to a hotel and we scrapbooked our first 10 years of marriage. It was for our 10th anniversary. The best part was looking through 10 years of pictures together, but he did stamp to scrapbook pages. I was very proud of what he did. (Good teacher, you know!)

My dh just had this card for a swap. He acts like he didn't enjoy doing it, but I know that's just an act. He also came up with the idea to buy a stamp (probably House-Mouse) and make me a card for our anniversary in May all by himself. I'll be excited to see what he comes up with!
Here's a link to the card that he made for the swap! I was very proud!

My DH has made me a couple things when I get new things and I have talked and talked about not being able to wait for them to come. So when they do he wants to see them and use them. He keeps saying he doesn't need me to watch him but I am worried that the I will come back with my yellow pad stained black or blue!

My DH doesn't stamp but he is really good with colors and helps me with that all the time! Sometimes I get stuck with figuring out what colors to use and he always has a good idea. He's also good at pointing out what would make a finished card better :?

No way!
My DH is a bit long in the tooth to start making/stamping cards but he did offer to help cut out stuff fo the first swap I did!! Also, he's very good with colors and does say if he likes cards I make (a bit too honest sometimes!) and is generally interested in my craft! He's better off with his woodworking out in his workshop and then I can stamp all I like while he's busy!!!

Yep, I think I have two things he has stamped uploaded. He has another that he made for me and gave me the day we moved in. I have to upload it when I get my scanner hooked up. ( I have located it, now just need to hook it up.)
He also fake stamped for me while he was away in Iraq. He would print out the images that he could access from the SU homepage (like mini catty images) and then he would cut them out and mount them using his photoshop and powerpoint and stuff. Pretty groovy cards, but it's the thought (and time/effort) that counts, right?

Yep, my husband does stamp occasionally. He's usually more apt to stamp if I break out the tools -- heat gun, hammer, eyelet kit, etc. For Christmas he stamped a coaster set on tumbled tile with Angler for his dad .
He has also used my sewing machine more than I have .

My husband would NEVER stamp! On the other hand, my brother stamps but his wife only works on scrapbooks. My husband makes fun of my brother because he likes to try new crafts, ie. knitting, stamping, and paper folding.

My DH surprises me with homemade cards whenever I travel for business. I love to unpack and see his card tucked into my luggage somewhere telling me how much he will miss me and how much he loves me. The cards are sweet and the effort and message is priceless.
He came to convention in Orlando with me last year, so alot of the cards had the SU! message, "Feel the magic all around when you hear that Stampin' Sound!" - he is definitely my DH for life!
I am so blessed with a DH who supports me in my little business - he is always there for me and encourages me to continue when the business side of stamping gets frustrating!
He is definitely my soul mate and true companion!

I would probably fall over dead if my DH ever stamped anything. LOL! He is not a 'crafty' person by any means (isn't very handy around the house either!), but I still love him! He just doesn't understand my stamping!

Early in my stampingl ife (about 10 years ago), my DH stamped and even went to a class with me!!!! He is artistically very talented and stamping appealed to him; until he looked around the room and discovered he was the only man there - now he won't touch anything!!! He made some beautiful stuff for the short period he did stamp though!

My late husband was totally supportive of everything I did, one year our Christmas cards had explosion cards in the middle and he helped me fold 150 of them, then went to work the next day and showed people how to do them (he was a warden in a state prison). One year he made me two different valentines day cards. At the Salt Lake City SU convention he helped me with my trades ... his words were I cannot imagine 3000 women wanting me and I said sweetheart they just want your cards! He had a ball trading! It is just really hard trying to get excited about it anymore. He was my biggest cheerleader!

Not only no, but H**L no!! I would fall over dead if he showed any interest!! He always jokingly verbally attacks my SU Demo anytime she comes over to put on a party.
My friends and I were at the Scrapbook Expo in SLC and saw a man walking around w/his wife and would patiently stand behind her chair (after standing in line for an hour) telling her what a wonderful job she was doing on her make-n-takes.  I envy people like that!

My dh has many years ago. We owned our own stamp store at one time. Sometimes he would sit there and stamp while I was closing up. He didn't do anything spectacular, just played. My dh will always try to show me up. LOL
When I'm working on wedding dresses, he will sit at my serger and help me. That's only when push comes to shove. LoL

I remember one time the three of us (DH, DD, Me) sat around the table and stamped. This was ONLY because my DD begged her Daddy to stamp with us. He pretended he enjoyed himself, but it was as if the rubber stamp were the syringe and the ink contained bubonic plague or something.
He's supportive of my stamping/scrapping and offers design opinion and praise, but he rarely even ventures into my stamp room for a pencil, let alone to stamp something.
If I'm at a store and need him to check a supply in my room I can see him breaking into a cold sweat at the task. Luckily I'm very organized and can send him right to the drawer or shelf.
Stamp a card for me? Not a chance in hell. Oh well.
Chris

I hold stamp classes/camps and one woman comes with her husband every month. She had a lot of SU stamps and materials and her husband told her she better start using them, she didn't know how to do anything. They heard about my classes and started coming a year ago, he said he would come with her. She gets so frustrated with him sometimes because his cards usually turn out better looking than hers. I let my stampers use any stamp on my shelf, I have them all displayed, if they don't want to use what I am demoing. He frequently gets up and gets some of my more "manly" stamps, he doesn't do flowers! And the cards look great. He sends his cards out, she keeps hers for "samples". Everyone in the class, it is a regular group, love having him come.

my husband doesn't just sit down and stamp but he does help me with things.
At Christmas we always make homemade gifts . Two years ago it was tie quilts we made about 20 or them , one year ago we made big trays of cookies , candies , other snack items ....... then this past year we made stamped candles with matching tumbled tile coasters. He helped with all of it.
When ever I have someone over and I am showing them different things they can do with stamps he is always saying did you show them how to do this or that and is always talking about how he can do it and it is so easy he is my hero. Usually ends up with me having sales that I really wasn't going for. I just was having fun sharing with a friend.
And he is pretty good with it but the bottom line is as long as i have something to do that i love doing he doesn't feel so guilty about going fishing. LOL
