I checked it out too and there are some fabulous cards in there. All I can say is that discovering this site has done more to inspire and educate me than I ever imagined. So exciting!
Fantabulous! I can't believe how much I miss when the weekend comes along and I don't get to check in to SCS as often! But, what a treat for a Monday morning!!

Kittenkisses cards are lovely. As are hundreds of other stampers' cards that post their work to the gallery!
I mean no disrespect to kittenkisses or her talent when I write this but Why do the newbies like her and Princessink get singled out as ultra-talented just because they are new? I ofen get affronted when I read these posts since there are SOOOOOO many unsung artists that post to SCS continually!! (And no I dont mean me, I dont even have a gallery yet!) I think we need to remember to shout out our praise to the artists amoung us as we discover them in our trips through the gallery. Something like hey have you seen "susiestampers'" gallery...she's fabulous and has been posting since last June...how come I've never noticed her before? Great work "susiestamper"!!

I just wanted everyone to know that I was very worried there would be stampers that would be curious as to why I should have extra warm fuzzies directed my way and maybe feel left out.
Because of who I am, I know what it feels like to be out looking in, I've NEVER felt like I belonged anywhere, and certainly not among talents here on SCS.
If you look in my descriptions, most of the better cards are modified cases. The so-so ones are my originals and the HM are originals.
I feel very badly that anyone has had unhappy feelings towards me or any of the other threads.
It is very unlike me to start a thread and the 2 that I did start...I guess I was just trying to be a part of the group and be more self-confident.
I want anyone that reads this to know that I never expected or aspired to monopolize the gallery or boards at all, I would never imply or suggest that my stuff is any better than anyone elses.
A week ago, I said to friends, I will NEVER post.
Bu then, I asked about casing and posting nonSU cards and the response was so welcoming and encouraging that I went ahead and started loading the cards.
Again, there are scads of personal galleries and new posters and old talents and unsung talents and super friendly ladies and "I'll give you the shirt off my back" types and perky types and shy types and so on...
Please forgive any offense and I do hope that SCS'ers will continue to leave comments on newbies cards, to get them over their stage fright and welcome them in.
For you who have been so out-of-your-way kind and expressive and complimentary to me, I love you and thank you, you really can't know what it means to be liked to me.

There are tons and tons of cards being uploaded to the gallery each day! There are many times when people post a blanket statement on the general board thanking everyone for sharing such great art work all the time because it's impossible to spotlight each and every new artist! We do what we can. Just because we can't spotlight everybody doesn't mean we shouldn't spotlight anybody. No one should feel bad about giving Kristen kudos. :P
No one said she should feel bad! I gave her Kudos and I think she has posted some great work! I merely stated that there should be more of these posts recognizing the fantastic galleries out there both new AND old. I've already started...how about you?
