Hello � My girlfriend is turning 40 next weekend and 6 of us are surprising her with a day in the city, Dinner, a show and some fun extra surprises. I am making a card from all of us. Can anyone give me some suggestions for what I can write in the card other then just a �Happy Birthday� stamp? And if you have any fun ideas for a 40th card, I am also open to those suggestions. Looking forward to all your great ideas. Thanks
I did one for our old neighbor using leaves (since I didn't have a tree stamp at the time), and printed (using the computer): "40 isn't old..." and inside said "...if you're a tree!"

I don't know if this will work for you my Friends and I are either in our 50's or are turning 50. I've been using... You're still HOT (on the outside)

It was CASEd from one I saw in the card aisle of a grocery store several years ago. I could not find a small mirror so I used some silver reflective paper which photographed very black. If you read the card I think the idea will be obvious even though the photo is not very helpful.
Cindy, I think I'll just start asking you for ideas. You always come up with the cutest things. I've been saving the poems you write. Hope you don't mind if I use them on my cards....with credit to you, of course. Do you happen to have any good ones for the All Mixed Up stamp set?

The funniest card I got when I turned 40 had this on the front: Oh no, OH NO, the awful, dreaded F word! And inside of course was the big FORTY! Works for 50 too!
