LSC99 - Very Versatile Verses
I love the verses that come with some image sets, but I have a hard time using them on a card front. And I have quite a few sets with just verses. In fact, I just bought Friend to Friend... finally. It had been on my wish list for what seemed like forever! I'm hoping to get some more layouts and embellishing ideas to use these on card fronts instead of just on the inside of my cards.
Keyword: LSC99
Stamps: Main image/focal point: verse; any sentiments or images should be used as accents to the verse; any backgrounds
Paper and Ink: any
Accessories: any
Please link new cards. ;)

YUP!
I see it.
I was going to pm you with this idea--but I never got around to it!!
Hopefully I will get around to the challenge though!! It looks like it will go well with the sketch challenge that I didn't get around to, either! LOL!
Have a great Friday, Jen!

I was cleaning out my PM box this week and I ran across some LSC ideas that I had forgotten about. I am terrible for writing things on little pieces of paper and losing them. I'm thinking I need the new little On Board book in the spring mini to make an LSC idea keeper! What do you think? :p
Anyway, I'm always looking for ideas. So flood my PM box with ideas... it has room now!

Great Challenge! I recently bought Friend to Friend too - I love it! I'm also THINKING about those two big sentiment sets - God's Blessings and Thoughts of You? Something like that. So I'm looking for good ideas to use the sentiment as a focal point!

Hmmmm... I just finished my SC107 card and it had a main image verse on the front... Not SU! but I don't have any SU sets with long verses... so here you go:
Verse card
(It might still be pending approval...)

OK, for some reason there's two of these threads. ANd I posted in the other one... so here's my submission (Non-SU verse, but I don't own any SU sets with verses yet)
Verse Card
(I just uploaded it, it may need to be approved still)

Good one, Jen. My SC card would almost work, but the verse is such tiny type, it really doesn't stand out as the focal point. Guess I'll just have to stamp another one. ;)

Here is one I did a while back. It is hard to see in the picture, but there is so much texture in this card - crimping, piercing and scoring.

Great challenge Jen! It's my birthday today and what I wanted for my birthday was a day to stamp and this is it. Going to drop off the girls at school and then stamp the day away. This will be the first I attempt!

I was working under difficult circumstances this morning. I'm going to my sister's for the weekend, and most of my stuff is packed in my car. So I used what I could find left on my stamp shelf. Hope it works for you.
