WT96 ~ Watercolor Paper!!
Happy Thursday!!! I am filling in for Julia this week, her computer is having problems! This week we are going to be using Watercolor Paper!! (If you don't have watercolor paper, you could use shimmery white? it colors nicely) Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!! Here are a few examples!
Remember to put WT96 in your keywords! Feel free to make as many cards as you'd like for this challenge!!! Did you see that we are at week 96 for the Ways To Use It!?! WELL, WT100 is going to be super special and fun!! Your not going to want to miss it!!
This will be my first time completing the WT challenge. It will probably be later in the afternoon when I get to it, but I'm really excited!! Looking forward to seeing everyone else's beautiful creations!!

I popped in from work to check on the challenge. I got tickled to see what it is as I use watercolor paper on 95% of my work. As a matter of fact....my hands get shakey and my right eye starts to twitch if I don't have at least two brand new unopened packages in stock as well as one opened one. I can't wait to play when I get home. Thanks for filling in, Lindsay!
Oh, I told myself enough of the challenges this week already, but I really want to try this one! Maybe DH will keep an eye on the boys just a little bit longer today ....
Can't promise anything too great...watercolor is still pretty new to me, but I love shimmery.....maybe I can do both! hmmmmm....
I definately want to play along, but I was just headed up to the craft room (in our attic) when I crossed paths with a mouse. EEWWW! I had to kill it (double EEWW!) and now that has pretty much curbed all desire to head to the attic for a while, know what I mean? Maybe I can play tonight after DH, in his shining armor, inspects the rest of the attic for me. Thanks for posting, Lindsey!
Ya know, I read all the time in the forums where people get upset about other people "stealing" their ideas and taking credit for them. Well, here is a prime example. I made this card thinking that I had ingeniously come up with something original. Later last night I decided to check the gallery under "martini", needless to say I was WAY wrong. However, the point is that I didn't CASE this idea at all, but there were at least 6-7 cards with the same concept as my card.
Hmmm...I wonder how often this has happened and someone gets slammed for "stealing" someone else's idea??
Something to think about...;)

Nice thing is, you don't even have to use watercolor pencils or crayons. I used markers on mine (I am in the process of getting a picture taken, then I will upload) then I took my aquapainter (you could use a watercolor brush or a squirt bottle) and lightly traced over it to give it a softer look! You can use anything!
