Default Uk stamper very happy!

Thank you RobynStamps for your reply, I cant wait for the arrival of Stampin Up in the UK. I hope they do it this year, we've missed out for so long not being able to get them, (unless connected to US military)
I'll be able to follow the colour combos and am itching to get my hands on those oh so scrummy stamps!:-D

I think they are planning to be in UK by April sometime if I remember correctly. Don't quote me on that though.

I wasn't at Leadership (no money to go) so all I can do is repeat what I've heard.

Personally, I'd start saving my money for the kit though!!! ;) In Canada the kit is $275. It's less in the States. Think it's more in Australia. No idea what it'll be in the UK!;)

I expect it will be the same as in the States but with a sign in front of it :(. So, effectively, twice as much. That's how it usually works for craft stuff. :(

And yes, you guys do tend to get screwed royally when it comes to craft stuff pricing:(

Not a whole lot better in Canada either though, LOL ;) We usually pay double what the Americans pay for things:(

I'm lucky enough to be visiting USA in April and will be bringing a big suitcase!

Another UK stamper here that will be saving for Autumn then (that's Fall to you US people LOL!)

So UK Stamp Mad - just HOW big is that suitcase of yours? Big enough to squeeze a few goodies in for some other UK SCSers?? ;) Just joking, I'm sorting out a list for a friend who is going on hols to US later this year.

Yep, we sure do get ripped off for craft goodies - no Cuttlebugs with 50% off vouchers for us

Still, I've got some things to look forward to - I took the plunge and bought a Big Kick machine today (got a whole 10% discount, woooohooooo!) so that will arrive later in the week. Plus a very nice US eBayer is sending me an SU! catty as I just bought some retired sets from her.

Happy crafting everyone!

Yeah but by savings up those half crowns and shillings and whatnot, you are one step ahead of the game. Think of the downline you could have a year from now!

I think it is totally wonderful that they have finally decided to come to the UK but like others have mentioned I wonder how much they are going to make the starter kit, it is always gutting when something that is so much cheaper in the States comes over here and it is just so expensive, but I do love Stampin Up stuff so hopefully they will take pity on us and not make it too too expensive to start up.
