BUMMER!!! I was at Micheals this morning, but didn't have time to linger. Besides they were so packed I didn't even get a shopping cart. Don't really want to go back today with kids in tow. Hope they still have them next time I go.
Just what I need more stamps!! But you can't pass up a $1 stamp and they are cute. Can't wait for hubby to get home so I can escape (been in with sick kids all week) to Michaels or anywhere else.

I'd like to think they are-that means more $stamps to come What would be really nice is if SU! would do some stamps similar to those- especially the word stamps!

I hit the $1 bin myself..got the "girly girl" one and also a tic tac toe with "i love you" in the squares (suppose I should just go stamp and scan them huh?) a shamrock, the congrats one that Kimberly got and a graduation cap that I just know i'll need sometime soon with family etc.
I picked up the Class of '05, the Graduation Cap, Fun in the Sun, Gone to the Beach, Girly Girl, Congrats! and the I Love You tic-tac-toe! How can you beat $1 stamps!?!?!
I noticed that they still have several martini glasses at my Michael's. PM me if you want me to grab you one.
OOHH! I'd haul my kids there as soon as the nap is over, EXCEPT, I just submitted a HUGE order to stampin up. I am getting 9, yes NINE, new sets in the mail soon. As well as 10 new craft pads (only have about 15 left to go to have them all!) and copper EP and zig painty pen and all kinds of other fun little goodies. Plus, my sister got 2 of the promo sets, which I can borrow at will! I guess I'll have to let those dollar stamps go this time, especially since I'm gonna have to find my husband some money to spend soon or he is going to get cranky!
Have fun with that. I get to just wait for my satisfaction, but I am so excited. 2 new alphabets, dinosaurs, bugs, balmy breezes, flowers, art of life, and all things that are so exciting. Soon my scrap pages will be flying off my desk.

Went to Michael's today....didn't buy any stamps but picked up a few things for my SS....hope she likes them!!(Well, I did get a few things for myself while I was there :oops: )

Thanks a lot MamaKimberly....I went to my local Mike's, and NO STAMPS! I then drove to one about 12 miles away....NO STAMPS! Then, because I had nothing else to do (laundry doesn't count) and my little man had fallen asleep in the carseat, I drove another 20 miles across Phoenix and still...NO STAMPS! Every store I went into I would question the sales people. They all looked at me like I was nuts. Maybe tomorrow...
Sigh...but thanks for sharing what I could have!

I am going back tomorrow. I hope our local store has the $1. stamps. One of my girls is graduating in June. I could use that Class of 2005 and the graduation cap. 2 1/2 months of school left and I haven't even started party invites. Eeeek!
My store did not have the new ones either! I'm so disappointed. Stuck in the house with barfing kids all week and finally get out of the house and they don't have any new $1 stamps!! Ahhhhh!!!! (Sorry, had to vent it has been a long week) I guess it is an excuse to try again tomorrow.
What are the $1 stamps like? I mean... are they rubber with foam on wood blocks? or just the foam kind or what? I haven't seen them and wondered if they're a quality stamp?? Are they good like SU? (although I guess for a $ I shouldn't be too picky, huh?

They are great! Rubber on wood blocks. Each one is just 1 stamp. Very much in demand as you can see here. I have about 20 from the last go round.

They are nice, in my opinion, and I'm a SU! demo. They are mounted on wooden blocks measuring about 2 x 2 inches. The say "Vap! SCRAP" on the side. A great deal, again my opinion, but I think others agree as well.
You're welcome! And, you're not alone. I ran there earlier today and bought 7, along with an additional $20 worth of other sale items, but they're still in the car hiding from hubby, LOL! (That's why I had to scan one of the older ones.)
I love the stamps they finally got the butterfly in the other day and my co worker there said she almost called me. What makes it even nicer since I am a employee I get a discout on the price so it makes it good for me to
use these stamps to teach classes at Michaels, I just wish they would get some $1 background stamps.

Wow, you're lucky! Our 30% isn't good till 6 pm. It's harder to get away from home in the evening.
I was planning on going tomorrow to use the 30% on some dry embossing stencils I want that are like 3 bucks, I have waited for them to go on sale.
I will be looking for those $1 stamps. I missed out on them last time but had a stamping angel, thanks kimilou, that picked some up for me! When I was there today they didn't have them out because they didn't have what I originally went in for so I had to wander around to figure out what to get instead. It was a madhouse in there so hopefully they will have the shelves stocked tomorrow!

I'm keeping a daily watch for these, Soni. I've already checked with the stockers and the gals up front to put them back for me. :-) Being a Michaels employee has it's advantages. hehehe
'course now that we have the 'fun in the sun' stamp coming in that batch, maybe I'd better grab the 'sun' stamp that's there.
