Valentine ideas

OK, I found many, many Christmas ideas of crafts but am having a very hard time finding anything for Valentine Day. For instance, I bought the Christmas M&M's and divided the green and red colors so I could do the Grinch Pills. Now I have red's and want to do something with them for Valentines. Any ideas our there?:???:

I was at Target yesterday. They have the cutest metal tins, they are shaped like mailboxes. They would be EASY to cover with paper. Just like the lunch tins. They are about 3" high by 5" long, maybe 2" wide.

which target??? I went to the one in West Jordan today and found little valentine pails but not a mailbox!!! I like to deliver a secret goodie container to my adult children (well I mail it to the one's going to school).... so the mailbox sounds so cute!

I found some Christmas Hershey Kissables. I picked out all the red and white ones and am going to use them for cupid poop! Thanks for the idea ladies!

Does anyone have a Cupid poem that isn't the Cupid poop one? I love the idea of red hots but I'm teaching a Community Ed class and I'm not sure how Cupid poop will go over with everyone. I know my own customers and know they could handle it but these will be total strangers so I want to be cautious.

Caution is advisable when dealing with the unknown. I personally do not like the poop poems. So I am still looking and hoping for something. I am also attempting to write my own.

I have a Valentine Prayer that I got several years ago. I plan to use it with a gift of some type for my Guardian Angels (teenagers) and my Secret Prayer Partner at church.

Valentine Prayer
I said a Valentine Prayer for you
And asked the Lord above
To fill your heart and bless your soul
With the precious gift of Love,
The kind that's ment to stay--
Just like the generous Love you give
To those you touch each day.
I prayed for Love from family,
And from every cherished friend,
Then I asked the Lord to give you
His Love that knows no end.

I like this one. I kept thinking about the other one, but that might be kind of weird to give to some of the men around my office. I can just imagine their wives finding it and wondering what other kind of kisses I was giving them. :shock:

This is an altered version of the christmas whisk:

Valentine Kisses Whisk

1 large wire whisk
about 1/3 bag of kisses

Fill the end of the whisk with chocolate kisses. Wrap in red cellophane and tie with gold ribbon or raffia. Attach a tag "Whisking you a Happy Valentines Day"

Candlelight Evening Kit

Place a Red or White candle, a mini champagne bottle of bubbles (or sparkling cider) with two mini wine glasses in a basket and attach the following poem:

For a candlelit evening, this little kit
Has everything that just might fit
A candle for a romantic glow
To linger over dinner, nice and slow,
A bottle of bubbly, for Valentine cheer
To help celebrate us together for another year
Glasses too, so you can drink
And not from the bottle I really think
So keep this handy for the perfect night
And your valentine evening will be just right

I cannot always be with you as I would like to be, so I placed inside this bottle some special T.L.C. May it serve as a reminder when you're down and feeling blue, that you have a friend thinking of you.

Use a hot cocoa packet, mini marshmallows, two hershey kisses
and a red candy stick (for stirring stick)
You can place in a mug or in a baggie and add the poem

Cupid made a little batch
Of love soup just for you.
He blew a kiss and threw it in,
In fact, he blew you two.
He added white and fluffy hugs,
And a little stirring stick,
Add some hot water and sip it slow,
It's sure to do the trick.

And your romance has the croup
Warm your little heart
