I had a vellum word sticker that I had placed down, and then decided to move. It almost came all the way up without ripping the paper. So I put it back down in a clean spot of the same paper. It was almost perfect. Next to me was my diamond glaze. SO what the heck I spread it all over it. After it dried, it looked pretty good, but when I picked it up (it was a large sticker) part of it bent from the weight and it CRACKED. It looks like the cracked glass. So I put it in the freezer for a while pulled it out and cracked it some more. So now I have this cool word "imagine" on a blue cloud background with the cracked glass look to it.
I always wanted to try the versamark Utee way, but this was much easier only one step.
And if this has already been discovered, my apologies
Anyway quality is not the greatest. It came off a camera phone. I have not inked it at all. Am thinking maybe with a silver to imitate the glass. And btw this is softer than the UTEE way. It still has some flex to it.

you cover the whatever (stamped item, sticker, etc) with diamond glaze which makes it like those epoxy pebbles. Then when the glaze is dried you can bend it which makes it into cracked glass.

Plaid's Glass Finish (Formerly called Dimensional Magic)
Sakura's 3D Crystal Lacquer (available in clear AND tinted colors)
Aleene's Paper Glaze
Ranger's Glossy Accents
Diamond Glaze is manufactured by JudiKins.
BASICALLY, all these products are the same thing: a clear drying dimensional adhesive that can be used not simply as adhesive, but also to create glossy/glassy effects.
Sakura is the only one to offer them in colors. However, if you have some of those paint pots from the craft store, with the lids? You CAN add several drops of DYE reinker and custom mix your own tints. I do this with Crystal Effects.
Also, some brands, due to slight chemical variations, may cause bleeding depending on the medium they are applied over and others may not. This may or may not be a desired effect, and you may only know what results you'll get by experimentation with all of them over different mediums. Take good notes so you know what did what when applied over what.

Julie, thank you! I have been wondering if anyone else makes something like CE that I can find at Michael's. I started a new thread to ask if anyone knows where I can buy these things locally. If anyone here knows, I'd love to hear! Thanks!
