Default Riveting vs. circle of friendship??

I need advice... I am thinking I'm going to make a SU! order before SAB ends. Now, this is a big deal for me! I only have a handful of SU! sets and only order about once a year (I know, I'm crazy!). Anyway, I really love the look of riveting, but don't think that I'm going to be able to host a workshop before SAB ends. So, do I just order Circle of Friendship and know that once it gets here and I'm not comparing it to anything I'll love it and use it. Or do I skip the SAB order and wait till I can host a workshop and go for the riveting?!

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!! Thanks!

Default Riveting

I had both. The circle of friendship's font is very, very small, and I ended up not using it at all. I ended up trading it for something else, and I use my Riveting more. But, I have heard others say they like it better, but that is my 2 cents!

I don't own either, so I can't weigh in on which you like best. If you only order once a year, now is the greatest time to do it. Order $150, which can include circle of friendship, that way you can get riveting, plus hostess gifts and 3 SAB sets. That would maximize your stamping!!

I've seen several postings for Riveting (some even new, unmounted) on the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum. You might want to consider working out a trade with someone.

Most certain... Riveting. I have both and RARELY use Circle of Friendship because of the font size. I love the little verses in Circle of Friendship but that's just it... they are TOO little. Riveting is more versatile because it also includes images. To me, Riveting is more of a phrase set to accompany an image set. Best wishes deciding.

BTW, you only order ONCE A YEAR?! Oh my, I would have a $1000 order if I did that. he he he...

Love my riveting set! Spend $150 and get three SAB sets, Riveting, and get $15 in free product. That has to be about $80 in free stuff.

I don't have Circle of Friendship but I do have Riveting and I really like it. I think the font in Circle of Friendship looks small plus there are a few that I wouldn't use.

I LOVE Riveting. I ended up trading my Circle of Friendship b/c i never used it. Definitely either a) trade for it or b) do what the others suggested and get 150.00 in orders (your own plus others...or just your own LOL!) and get Riveting for Free, plus 3 SAB sets for FREE plus 15.00 in merchandise for FREE!

I have both and prefer circle of friendship -- the font is small but I think it is a nicer size proportion wise for A2 cards. I think it will be fairly easy to buy Riveting as many folks seem to have duplicates.

I prefer riveting... You could go to the b/s/t now if you have something to trade. But, sounds like you are building up your stash of stamping goodies and may not want/or have anything to trade just yet. (just you wait though). Riveting won't be in the next catalog because it is a hostess set. You could wait until the new catty comes out, then go to the b/s/t forum and purchase it outright. just a thought. I would definetely order during SAB though, especially if you love any of the SAB sets.
