The perfect stamps for underappreciated cards!
I saw these stamps and laughed but I'm seriously considering getting them. I'll just slap one of these babies on the flap part of the envelope before I hand over my creation.
Considering the discussion from the other day, thought these might come in handy. Click on the Handmade Card stamp to enlarge it and then click on the I Made This! stamp below to read that one.

Actually, I've been fortunate that people have been polite when I give them a card and some have actually been enthusiastic. But still, they say prevention is better than a cure.

That's great! I'm seriously considering having a personalized hand-stamped-by stamp made. Mine would read "Shamelessly copied by Lisa"

Those are great!
I have a stamp that reads: If you knew how long it took me to make this card you would NEVER throw it away!!!
I have used in on several of my cards.

Too cute! River City Rubberworks makes another one that I have on my wishlist. It says This better not go in the trash in a cute typewriter font.

HANDMADE SENTIMENTS
The Angel Company has one that says something like: "This card was made by hand. If you throw it away, those same hands will make a doll in your image...and stick pins in its butt!"
I laughed SO HARD when I saw this!

Yep, I agree this place IS death to the pocketbook. I never thought of personalized stamps but love your ideas!
Just checked out the River City Rubberworks link. Thanks, Lori! Not only do I love the 'This better not go in the trash!" stamp but I also loved the barcode that says 'Priceless' and the stamp that unfortunately describes me: "I think that I shall never see, a rubber stamp that I don't need."
And now, it's off to find The Angel Co. voodoo doll stamp - too funny!

Oh my gosh. I love that one by the Angel Co. I would love that.
I have on that says
Stamps......$8.00
Ink............$4.00
Paper........$.50
Created by me
Priceless
And another by Judikins that says
Enclosed is a
HANDMADE CARD
As such it deserves a place of honor and respect in your home and should not be casually discarded like an ordinary store-bought card.
An last but not least...from Hambo
This card is safer than the others,
because this time I used my rubbers.

stamps for underappeciated cards
The stamp I use on the back of all my cards is from Limited Edition rubberstamps and reads
"This card was made by hand
If you throw it away those same
hands will make a doll in your
image and stick pins in it's butt.

I get a lot of my stamps from ebay but a lot of companies sell on there so then I know where to go for more.
The one about rubber & the priceless one, I got from Hambo
go to
http://www.hambostamps.com/funnysayings.htm
and
http://www.hambostamps.com/fracturedfunnies.htm
I don't see either of the ones that I got on their site anymore but they have some cute ones. I saw one in the 30-50% off pare that says "Stampers leave a good impression". The Judikins one I either got on ebay or picked up at a convention.
Sorry, that wasn't much help.

These are hilarious!!! And I love Hambo stamps! The fractured funnies are too cute to pass up! (I got the luck of the irish set for ST. Patty's day).
On eBay I bought a few envie stamps from "onerubbernut" I believe:
"Oh No! She's buying more stamps!" (My favorite)
"Send Rubber Stamps!"
"I only stamp on days that end in Y"
Then I have another one that says "The Mad Stamper stamps again"
But I'm going to have to look into these! They are too great.

Ok guys, look at this one on ebay
It says:
If you're looking for a price on the back of this card, you won't find it here.
But, you will find the blood, sweat and tears that was put into the making of this card. And then it has the barcode with priceless below it.
Cute!

The perfect stamps for underappreciated cards!
I have one of the SU hand stamped by stampms. Under that I like to stamp it with one that says DOMESTIC GODDESS. My mom & sister nearly fell over when they first saw that combo.
