I thought this would be a fun thread. What would you like to see in the next catalog? Sets (or sets retired <g>), accessories, new products, etc. Here are a few of mine to get you started:
Eyelets in more colors, and the ability to replace one color (Lovely Lilac, which I used for a swap) without buying the whole container of 4 colors.
More colors of chalk ink. I'd love a real pale peach, which I know Colorbox does make.
The ability to buy packs of patterned paper w/o having to buy the whole selection.
I'd like to see them bring "Say It With Scriptures" out of retirement!
Some Christian Christmas and Easter sets with real Christian sentiments for these holidays.
More sentiments (I'm so happy to have Curvy Verses and Sincere Salutations) - I love the Hero Arts sentiments.
This one is something that won't happen, but would be great!! I'd love to have the choice of picking which sentiments I want from the long sentiment stamp sets on pages 184-186. For example, I just don't understand "I want to be you when I grow up", and how many times are you going to use "You're my hero!"?? We could pick 4 for $19.95 and get the sentiments we want.
More Wonderful Words (I hear that the Spring Mini has some!)
More Everyday Flexible Phrases!
More Spectrum pads
Watercolor pencils in all 48 colors, same with Pure Color Pencils...
Petal Prints
Mon Ami
Canvas background Stamp
Alot of the alphas from the mini-catalogs
More jumbo wheels
More patterned papers
A new color family of pale papers--softer than soft subtles.
I'd like to see more "boy oriented" stamps. Not too sure what though :?
I'd LOVE to see different sized "TAG PUNCHES". Maybe they could come out with those and get rid of the tag sheets. Kinda like what they did with the alpha-accents. Also different shaped punches like 2 sized hearts, 2 sized octagons, 2 sized rectangles (you get my drift, just like our square and circle ones) that way you can make a mat for them also.
Also to copy what was said earlier (get to purchase one color of eyelets) instead of the whole shebang.
Hopefully more jumbo wheels and more color choices in jumbo cartridges.
I would like to see more/different holiday sets. Easter, Valentine but more Halloween and Christmas.
More saying stamps. More like Versatile Verses. I do like the ones like Sincere Salutations that say a specific title, but I'd like more of the verse type sayings.
I'm sure there could be more but my mind is blank right now.
Can't wait to hear what everyone else is thinking.
Pam

I'd like to see more inside sayings. TAC has a bunch that I love, but I don't want to waste my money on something I can't demo.
I also agree with eyelets in individual amounts and I would like to see all 48 colors!!
Also, more sets with wine related stuff. I have had quite a few customers ask me for those kind of stamps for parties they were having.
A set with old style pick up trucks would be cool too.
Craft pads in 1x1 spot size
more colors of gingham ribbon
more eyelet colors & sold individually
more greeting sets
new background stamps
more patterned paper & sold individually
a new color family (need peach, a new purple, a better hunter green)
charms & embellishments
something to replace Fruit Medley
I'd like to see more variety in the scrapbooks. I finally broke down this year and bought one of the SU scrapbooks. The linen navy post bound. I LOVE it! I just really want more colors from which to choose. I don't want to buy a linen in the light cream color (I'm afraid it will get dirty, even with the stain resistance) and I don't want the rest of my scrapbooks to be in navy.
I would also like more colors of the journaling markers. LOVE those!
I'm glad to hear that there are more wonderful words coming in the spring mini!
I'd like to see a good soccer set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soccer is sooooooo big - all 3 of my kids have played since kindergarten and my daughter continued to play in college!!! Do you think I have TONS of soccer pix to scrap!!!!!
I REFUSE to pay the price of "Good Sports" or "Sporting Goods" when I will use only one or two of the stamps!!
Okay, sorry, I'll calm down now!!
We need a good wedding set to scrap with!!!
More patterned papers in florals, etc. - sorta Anna Griffin style. I know we can stamp our own on cardstock, but sometimes paperweight is what I want and it is soooo quick to just to cut it and slap it down.
Lots more, but I can't keep writing here ALLLLL day!!
Oh, and I agree with everything said in the earlier posts!!!
Amie in "Spring Mini"-less PA

Military-themed. (And one with a little line of tanks that says, "Mini tanks!")
Magnetic stamp alphabet and numbers sets like the one by Making Memories.
A regular Classic Black ink pad, that isn't waterproof. I want one that washes off like all the other colors do, so it won't stain my stamps, when I don't need to be able to watercolor or marker them. (I have one by another company that I often use for sentiments, and it's so much faster and neater than having to clean up Basic Black.)
(I'm sure I'll think of more later!)

I agree with everyone that I would like to be able to buy eyelets in single colors, and I would also like to be able to do that with pearl ex and the colored EP. Also:
- pencils in 48 colors
- 4 sheets of each color in asst. paper packs (3 is just not enough!)
- a softer orange color that would work with Soft Subtles
- more shades of blue
- the Classic alphabet font in a larger size--as big as Pure & Simple
- a wheel that looks like the frame part of Swirl Frame Fun with the solid background
- a DD set with dinosaurs to match my son's Pottery Barn quilt
Whew! Felt good to get that out of my system. I could go on and on, but these are definitely at the top of my list.
Ooh...great thread!!
I am totally in agreement with the individual eyelets - PLUS in all 48 colors. I would also like the jumbo wheels in all 48 colors.
I would LOVE to be able to buy more of the patterned papers that I like instead of the whole pack! Like 10 sheets of one, etc. Great idea!
Chalk pads - more, and full sized!! Not that I really want to buy another whole set of full size pads, but the petal points seem to dry out faster than others...
More jumbo wheels to use as backgrounds - I LOVE background stamps but find it much easier to use the wheels (now that I have the new wheel guide!)
48 colors of grosgrain ribbon plus gingham
More retro sets - but still cute. More unisex, can be used as male cards too...
I would LOVE another color family...muted shades of some of the more popular colors, another peach/apricot color (kind of between orange and blush), a "tea stain" color, etc.
A better cutter! I love my CARL...
I would like to see a whole new color family - there are some colors that we are just missing. Also, a waterproof gray.
Some of the colors I would like to see:
a true Peach color (Cameo Coral is too orange and Blush Blossom is too light)
a Raspberry color
Black Cherry - saw in a lipstick and loved it
Pink Chocolate - saw in an eyeshadow and loved it - think Pink toned Close to Cocoa
a Watermelon color
a Charcoal Gray (deeper than Going Gray, but not as dark as Basic Black)
a real Yellow-Green - Gable Green is just too green
a true Baby Boy Blue
I would also like to see Eyelets and Brads in all 48 colors
Vintage Eyelets along with the Brads
More Shaped Eyelets, shaped brads
Gingham ribbon
Petal Prints and More Petal Prints
More Greetings sets with card inside verses
Grosgrain ribbon to match each classic ink (who wouldn't love a Barely Banana grosgrain??)
Watercolor pencils to match all classic inks
Solid color background papers - sometimes cardstock is just too thick
More sets on the order of "Seaside Sketches" and "Summer by the Sea"
That's all that I can think of off the top of my head.
Tops of the list.......individual eyelets to purchase!! Or "mix and match" containers with 4 colors.......you choose! (Hey, if they can make empty cartridges and Kaleidocolor pads, why not eyelets??!)
Petal Prints and More Petal Prints
Canvas background stamp
Wishes:
More background stamps
Possibly another color family ~ with those colors mentioned above...
More designer papers, availabe individually (packages of say 10 sheets of each)
More saying stamps (greetings)
More grosgrain & gingham colors (we need a mellow moss one!)
More punches
And, finally, as a Canadian......my wish is for the prices to be more in line with the exchange rate.....reviewed quarterly. But that's just my opinion...I realize they can't predict how the markets will fluctuate, but at least reviewing it quarterly would bring it into line for a while!!

*I'd like to see an Everyday Flexable Phrases II.
*More Sentiments that are meant to be stamped INSIDE the card. Like poems or such, but modern.
*This is weird, but a moon stamp that looks like the moon and maybe the phases of it. They could also include in the set clouds and stars...
*Multi colored ribbon. Like dots, stripes, plaids.
*And I agree with the scrapbook paper. I wish I could buy just a pack of one design instead of the whole assorted packets.

Scouts sets!! They NEED to come up with new Girl/Boy Scout sets!!!!!!!! Even if it's just a mini-catty item at some point, we NEED Scouts sets!
I'd also like to see a Girl's Night Out type set - martini glass, margarita glass, a lime, maybe a purse with accessories, some type of shoe - basically, Girlfriends and accessories for grown-ups, for those of us who are in between Girlfriends and Going Out In Style. Something like that would be fun in a retro style, or as line art.
And something with an "s" for Everyday Flexible Phrases - I would love that set if I could say Happy ValentineS Day, Happy MotherS Day, etc. *LOL*
I actually emailed this suggestion in to SU! on the demo website. I'd love for them to do this also, but like you, I'm sure it won't happen.
I would like to see more/better birthday sets. I would also like to see a set with "doctor/dentist visit" type stuff -- bandaids, stethoscope, doctor person, teeth with braces (and without), toothbrush, etc. -- I'm thinking I would use this to scrap doctor and dentist visits. I also agree with better wedding sets and boy sets.
I totally agree about the wedding sets, we need more and better.
I'd really like to see longer verse sets, which go on the inside of a card and actually take up space and mean something. I am buying some from TAC & just bought some from Hero.
More colors please! Not that I don't love our 48, but I'd like to see more.
A general comment about different stamps would be to make them trendier. I think its CTMH that has this adorable set of a girl walking a dog (which I'm definitely getting) and TAC carries a range of very trendy sets like their Another Year set (also buying). I love our sets and think we are definitely on board with keeping up with what’s hot but I'd like to see a bit more.
And the last thing is to have the option of acrylic. WOW I never realized how different it is and the cost savings are phenomenal! The organization is so much easier and you need so much less space for these sets. Although it's be wonderful idea I doubt it will happen but this is how wish lists go- Dream BIG
I wish the mini catalogs would have more embellishments in them. I was hoping this would happen when they went to the bigger mini.
I also agree with the wedding sets and the doctor sets. I just found some cute braces paper and stickers while away for Christmas to do some pages from when I had braces.
I think the sets that may have a limited appeal should appear in the mini catalogs, like the scouts so they can try them out before putting them in the catty!
I too would like to see more masculine and boy oriented stamp sets. I'd love to see a bigger variety of alphabets.
And:
Watercolors in all 48 colors
Chalk Inks in all 48 colors
Eyelets and brads in all 48 colors
Definitely more Gingham ribbon in all 48 colors
Fibers in all 48 colors
Wouldn't it be cool to have "craft" stampin spots? I'd truly love to see that.
I'd also like to see a bigger variety of holiday oriented sets. I know they come out in the mini catalog but they should have a few more sets available in the all year catalog. And I would really love it if they came out with a more up-to-date color combination wheel.
I'm sure there's more than I can think up but its just a bit too early to be thinking clearly.
Versamark cartridge for the wheels
designer series individually sold
eyelets of the same color
canvas bg
paint prints
Mon ami
same color gable boxes instead of an assortment
more scrapbook sets
charms
More colors for gingham ribbon
Polka dot ribbon
more selection of jumbo wheels

when I need a water proof gray I just stamp off the black and it works well.
I too would like to see some of the things on this list....kinda of exciting knowing that wihtin the next month or so the new catty will be complete and go to the printers for first revisions. I can't imagine being at the home office and having to keep quiet about what is in there for so long!!!!
Here are mine:
Mardi Gras stamp set
Better Wedding and Baby stamp set
Better Easter set
Brads in all 48 colors
Water color pencils coordinated with the 48 colors
I have so many school pics of my kids that I want to scrapbook, but I don't like our ONE school-theme set! I'm almost ready to take a look at TAC or CTMH to find a good school set, but I'll wait (and hope) until the new catty comes out
Also, craft spots, tag punches, Everyday Flexible Phrases 2 (maybe even 3!)...

Rebecca
OOOO, can you imagine 2 and 3 sets of Flex Phrases!!! Awesome!
I would love to see the wheel page brought back! It is so much easier to see what wheels there are when they are condensed on a few pages rather than thrown throughout the catalog!
We need a new color family!!!!! I love the colors that we have, but we could use more shades of some colors (paler pink, peach, softer hunter green, and the list could go on)
Definately more sentiments and sayings. The insides of cards are often ignored!
Eyelets (individaul and all 48 colors)
Better Wedding Sets
More fibers in individual colors
Everyday Flexible Phrases II (possibly even III)
Greeting Card Organizer (kind of like the Hallmark one that was recently advertised)
And the list could go on!!!
I'm sure that the new catalog is already at the printer (or darn near ready to go), and I am just dying to see what they came up with this year. I'm also curious to see what will be retired.....hmmmmm....maybe I will start a thread about that one.
I'd also love to see the eyelets in individual colours.
And I'd also like to have a system where you can buy paper on a resource basis from your demonstrator (i.e. one sheet of this, two sheets of that), just like Creative Memories does.
I'd love to see them bring back Definitely Decorative "Space" for kids, and for myself Fabric Of Friendship and A Thing Of Beauty (kind of feminine and vintage).
Also a peach ink pad and a larger selection of brads which I love much better than setting eyelets.
I agree with EVERYTHING everyone is wishing for (some things I never even thought of). I also wish for new and better birthday stamps. There is not one set I like. I think the bg stamps in the jumbo wheel is a GREAT idea too. Also, revision of the Angel Policy would be a plus, but, I'm sure this will never happen. (I know that isn't really a "catty" thing, but still...)
