I just bought Hero Arts new "ribbon" stamps today! They are so cute!
I made a card with them using the baby from Occassionally and the baby saying from Curvy Verses. I loved it, but the pastel colors looked so washed out in the scan that I couldn't upload it. :(
I think the zig zag stitch is going to be a favorite of mine.

I saw this set in the 2005 Hero Arts catalog and thought it was adorable. So, far I have not been able to find it. Would be nice if SU came out with something similar. If not I guess I'll break down and order it.
I bought this set several weeks ago at our Archivers (Bloomingdale, Illinois) and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Here's a link to a card I made with the rick rack ribbon stamp with Little Layers and uploaded a couple of weeks ago:
Very cute card, Glittergal!
I love the idea of piercing the zig zag stitch, Sandybeach! I'll definitely be using that idea!

Glittergal,
I've been known to "frequent" Archivers in Bloomingdale on a few (LOL)
occasions. I haven't seen that Hero Arts set. How could I possibly have
missed it? Could you point me in the right direction in that store? I may
just have to stop there today when I'm out doing "errands", as if I need
another excuse to go there! Thanks in advance!
I tried Sandybeachs link and it says "you do not have permission to view this page"...i'm signed in, so is this from the demo only board perhaps???
The link is to a card by Michelle Wooderson, so if you are not a member of the DD Gallery, you won't be able to view it. :(

Check on the bottom shelf in the stamps section - that's where I found it, but that was a good 6 or 7 weeks ago at least. I know they were out of them after that, but then a friend of mine found it there again within the last couple of weeks (I know, because I was with her), so give it a try. If they're out of it again, maybe you could ask if they take orders on it, since they apparently get regular shipments from Hero Arts.
Good luck.

I fell in love with this stamp set, but the Hero Arts shipment to my local store has been held up in a customs/shipping fiasco since last month -- so here I wait (good thing us Canadians are known for our patience )
If you want to buy this set go to www.heroarts.com and you will see the Ribbons and Stitches set of 6 for $20.00. It is located just a little down on the homepage under Projects of the Month. For $2.50 they will ship to your house on a 3-day delivery. Good Luck....I just ordered mine and can't wait to get it on Wednesday....very adorable set and a must have! You can pay with any major cc.

Happy Heart!!!! WOW WOW WOW!!!! That is one EXCELLENT piece of art! It's hard to believe that is paper that you wove. I can't wait to get my set! By the way, have you tried the stamps on actual (plain) ribbon, say, to make your own gingham or dot ribbon? That is what I want to try. Thanks for sharing such an awesome card.

A great place to buy Hero Arts stamps is www.stampingonline.com . Jennifer (the owner) is wonderful & with a $40 order, shipping is free -- not hard to do at all.

I was just on there, and all it would do was let me add it to my wish list. I couldn't see how I could actually buy it. Any help?

I went there to check it out. It's on backorder with them, but I was able to order it from Hero Arts.

Diane is really nice to work with. The price of the ribbon stamps is only $18.00. Shipping is actual shipping costs ($3.85 Priority Mail for mine). If you contact Diane, tell her Susan sent you!
I must say, it's been a LONG LONG time since I've bought any non-SU stamps since I'm a demo, but I just *had* to get these! I really hope SU comes out with something like these! I also wish SU would come up with some more sentiments similar to Hero's.
This set is just so fabulous with the gingham ribbon, the dot stamps, and lots of the SU stuff. It sold out in 3 days in a huge stamp store in the Seattle area and when they restocked it again sold out in 3 days. She said they had never had a set fly off the shelves that fast as they bought scores of them.
dot2dot, what stamp store did you find it at in Seattle, I have tried the ones I know of and haven't found it. Would love to buy it without paying for shipping. Thanks!
Check with Make an Impression in Issaquah. They had them a couple weeks ago. Do NOT buy from Impress Rubber stamps. They have broken the sets up and are charging $7.50 PER stamp!! This means the set you can buy for $20 in Issaquah would cost $45 by buying in pieces at Impress. It has made me really rethink dealing with Impress. I will always buy elsewhere first.
Oh, you girls have tipped me over once again with your creativity! and I am so darn lucky - I had a 40% off coupon and got the set yesterday. I can't wait to create!!!
Thanks, MommaJ!
In my area Michael's & JoAnn's also do the 40% off one regular priced item. Offhand, I can't remember which one carries Hero Arts stamps.
Guess I'll just have to check 'em both out, as well as my Archiver's.
Thanks again!
Mary, the 40% off coupon I used was for Michaels. However, our local craft store (which is HUGE) accepts all competitors coupons so I always use the Michaels ones there.
Carol
Not exactly on the topic on the Ribbons and Stitches stamp set, but JoAnn will honor the Michaels's coupons-I did it just this week! Not sure if Michael's will honor JoAnn's though. Just a little FYI!

I found this set on a website a couple of days ago on sale for $16.00 and the shipping was only $2.50. I thought I would pass it along to anyone that might be interested.
If you click on the "search page" at the top of the page and enter in this item number in the box: LL992 it will bring up the set.
The site has FREE shipping for orders over $20.00, under that is only $2.50.
This is the first time I have ordered from this site. I did receive a very nice person email from someone as well as an order confirmation receipt.[/url]
This is my first post, so I hope I got the link placed in their correctly.
Maryp, my Archivers (in Orland Park) recently got the Ribbons set in (after I had looked high and low for it) so maybe you will have luck at yours. Let me know if you want me to pick one up for you. I get my 15% MemorySavers discount there.
