What is the latest thing that SCS caused you to purchase?!
I could list MANY stamp sets that SCS has made me buy! And I appreciate all the inspiration, even if my checkbook doesn't!
What is the most recent stamp set/accessory that this website has "encouraged" you to buy?
My answer: Paisley Background Stamp that arrived on Friday!!
In the same order, I got "In the Wild" and "On Safari" background. I just placed another order for the gals that came to my Stamp Camp last week and I ordered the "Heart of Africa" wheel after seeing the cool samples here on SCS using "In the Wild" and the Africa wheel!!
I already had my Prismacolor pencils - I got them on Ebay over a year ago. I got a good deal, but nothing like the deal people got from Viking! BUT all the latest talk about Prismas has caused me to get mine out and get the 48 colors that go with SU colors sharpened and I've started using them!

I would have to say the starter kit!! LOL , this site convinced me to become a demo! For an individual stamp set , its a toss up between Shapes and Shadows and Simply Circles. I love them both!! Oh and the Prisma Color Pencils, so as you can see, although my Husband might not appreciate the dents in the checkbook , I sure do!!!!!

Over the weekend I just had to have my rep order Shapes & Shadows because of SCS. When it first came out I was like "no way, does nothing for me, not my style..." but now that I've seen all the wonderful cards in the gallery, I have to have it. Sometimes I see a card and CASE it with one of my own sets, but I can't seem to find a set to mimic these great cards without buying this set. I also now have to have the Plaidmakers!!!

I HAD to have Loads of Love, so I bought it on the last day of the mini catty. I've also traded for a lot of sets because of this site--DD Butterfly and Little Layers Plus--Love them both!
I'm totally addicted and don't want help

I purchased the Ink pad refresher on line...
and I got the Gramsol,
and I want the Twinkling H2O now. I went to their site and joined and they sent me a voucher for $5 in email if I purchase by April 1. Now I just have to decide which group to get and how many.

Canvas and chalk inks. I never would have bought them from looking at them in the catalogue. Canvas is awesome and I use it all the time....the chalk inks, well, I'm still getting the hang of them!

Paisley BG stamp!!
Can someone tell us where to look for samples using this set. I also looked under Paisley and can't find anything. I have even uploaded a sample using that as a keyword and it's not in there.
Thanks so much!

I had to buy one of those darned safety can openers so I could make fruit cans.
Then let me count all of the stamp sets... Balmy Breezes, Shapes and Shadows, Spring Fling, Paris in the Spring, Winged Things, Never Ending Joy...
I went to SCS Omaha gathering and now I'm thinking that I need craft ink and embossing powder because of the cute swap that I recieved that of course would not be as cute if it didn't use craft ink--LOL!
Then don't get me started on everything that JulieHRR has made me buy in the past year. I found her webshots site and saw her name in a couple of mags and that was it for me, I am a total HRR fan. If she has it, chances are I soon will too. She might as well be my upline so that she could get some cash benefits for all of the ideas that I've flat out stolen from her.

You have to be a member of the Fan Club to see the Dirty Dozen Gallery where the Paisley BG stamp was used in so many fab ways. You can get info about joining the Fan Club on the home page. I highly recommend it...for just $20, you get access to some seriously awesome creations, and it supports SCS.

There are many samples in the DDD gallery. And it is a great way to support the site.
Also, I did a search and came up with this:

Thanks for the tip. Now I sent my $20. in a long time ago but I am not sure that I have ever been able to get into the DD gallery. For that matter I don't think I have ever used this site to my fullest potential because I view it at work and the girl that sits by me... well she never joined and she seams to have all the same viewing that I have. Am I doing something wrong?? Was I supposed to get a pass word?? I am going to try the DD gallery again. Any help I would appreciate. THanks

Take a look at the link and you’ll see the gauze design on the card Mona Lisa did and I just had to have it. I’d seen it before and liked it but her post prompted me to go use my thirty percent off coupon a the local stamp and scrapbooking store.
Mona Lisa if you see this post you’ll be honored to know I’m casing your idea. I just love this card with its simple and elegant style. My other stamps will be different but just love the gauze look. It's by Hero Arts.

Cool Cat is on her way to my house now! Paisley, too, but that doesn't count because it's been on my wish list from day one.

Well, I had a LONG talk with myself about all the sets I have. I then convinced myself not to order ANYTHING until the retirement list comes out. I knew waiting for the new catalog would be too hard...well...i tried, I really did...I fought the urge...walked away from my computer...talked to myself again...tried to put in the workshop order with out adding anything...broke out in a sweat...started shaking...walked away....ran back and ordered 'Paisley'...now who is responsible for all those great samples...LOL!!!!

Oh great, I never even gave the Paisley BG stamp a second look, until I saw this thread and went to look at the samples.... now I hear it calling my name.
I love what everybody has been doing with it, and with so many "on the way" I'm looking forward to even more fabulous samples!

SCS caused to buy
Weak willed, that's what I am. Latest must haves because of this site are Shapes & Shadows and I am just about to fall for Paisley. Still trying to say to myself this mantra: Wait until the retired list comes out, Wait until the retired list comes out, Wait until the retired list comes out...

Ummm - I just placed an order (it's my birthday today!) that had 3 background stamps on it.... what is wrong with me?!?!? I only have 2 bg stamps and one I never use! Now I'm going to have 5 (maybe 6 if I can get my aunt to order bamboo II to go with the calming garden set I just ordered.
I told myself - no more until the new catty comes out. Let's see how long that lasts! I told myself that I should just put paisley on this order because I'll want it until I do. This keeps me from spending more money later, right? Let's hope!
Have a great day guys!

Pocket Fun and Just Jeans background. Both these stamp sets are TOTALLY not me, but I have been inspired by all the samples I see here.
Also, the Prismacolor pencils.

latest thing from SCS I had to had
Well after looking thru the gallery briefly, I just had to have Lovely as a Tree. I don't think I would have ordered it otherwise. I am anxiously awaiting it. The other thing I am going to order is a slit punch. Very cool!!!

HMMM...well on my order I NEED to get to my demo today I will be getting Shapes and Shadows -
Last week I saw a thread about ribbon storage and I got the Mini boxes by Cropper Hopper to store my ribbon..... then went to Walmart to get a box to put them in (a tackle/bait box only $3 compared to the Cropper Hopper Embellishment box at $12)......
I could make a huge list of things in the past I have purchased due to SCS!!
