LSC96 - Scrap Happy
This week we are using scraps of patterned paper. I have a ton. I have this silly rule that I won't use my 12x12 patterned papers for cards until I've used it on a scrapbook page. That way it's still mine! Then I'll use it on cards. And then I still have leftovers... and I hardly ever throw any scraps away! :o Some of these scraps are small. But they still work for punches.
So, with your scraps of patterned paper, I want you to use shape punches... ovals, circles, squares, images such as flowers and leaves, and even the word window would work. Please read the following for more specific instructions.
Keyword: LSC96
Stamps: 1 to 3 stamps
Paper and ink: any colors in addition to the patterned paper
Embellishment: Just one - Let the punches shine.
Accessory tool: you may use one in addition to the punches
Edited to clarify: Please use your shape punches with patterned paper. The only reason I made the other limitations this time is let the punches shine and be noticed. Additional use of patterned paper is fine if there are patterned paper punches on the card. Thanks for playing!
SAMPLE:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!

Travel day today, but when we got home, I did the Ways to Use it challenge. Don't think I have enough in me tonight to do this one too (it's 2am!) but I will definitely sleep on it and work on it tomorrow. Thanks Jen! Oh, and how fun, a bonus challenge too!!!!! How sweet is that?!!!

I love decorative paper! Recently, I've been using it all the time for quick cards. I feel a little lazy when I do it, though! :-D

I have an obscene amount of patterned paper scraps. I did comp. book journals for several coworkers. Is the cuttlebug considered an "accessory"? If so I have an idea.

This one was fun, Jen - challenging to see what I could come up with using punches - and, I'm satisfied with it!

If you don't have any punches, that would be a good substitution.
