Default stamp pad holder / organizer

My DH just finished making me a great organizer/holder for my SU stamp pads. When I get all 48, they will all fit - still working on that!!

It looks like a drawer & has a lid that comes off, but will slide over the top for taking to workshops, etc. It is 13" wide, 21" tall & 6" deep. And there is a handle (like on a drawer) on the top for carrying.

Just love it .... and him of course (32 years of wedded bliss April 7!).

I am posting pictures.

BTW - he says he'll make them for anyone else if you are interested for $25 (plus shipping).

It looks like you are BOTH crafty! What a clever idea to put the lid and the handle on it! Fantastic.

I'd love one but I think shipping to England will be way too much!

Your hubby did a great job!

Heres to another 32 (I think it was 32) years! and lots more wood creations for you.

Considering I've been to IKEA twice to find the handy-dandy DVD holders and they've been OUT twice! Since those will run me at least $20-$25 buckeroos, I'd be happy to give the money to someone else that deserves it!! Can you price out shipping to 55360? Thanks a bunch!!!

If shipping wouldn't be outrageous to the 20715 zip code, I'd like to put my name on the list.
Very nice design and talented DH!
ETA -- I see from your picture that other pads fit also -- can you tell me what pads you have found that fit and any that you have found that don't?

Default stamp pad holder / organizer

I have just sent e-mails or PM's to those requesting shipping info.

My DH made it for me to hold my SU stamp pads & it does so great. You can put other pads in it though (as you can see from my picture.) The only stamp pads that stick out (about 1") on the holder are the Kaleidacolor by Tsukineko, Inc.

So, just let me know who wants one & he'll go to his workshop & get busy!! (And I can stamp!!)

Seeing things like this really make me miss my dad. He could have whipped one of these up for me in no time from his scraps. I've been wanting to get into wood working just for things like this, but I haven't managed to cut a straight line yet. I'm going to have to sweet talk the Ex into helping me with something like this!

He's gone to Home Depot to get supplies for 4. He'll work on them tomorrow while I'm holding a stamping party!! He's excited - he can be in his workshop outside while all the ladies are in our house!!

Any more takers???

I will let you know in a few days if that is ok??
Thanks

dg - two other people haven't been able to see the picture - it must be in the settings. I'll be glad to e-mail you the picture if you want me too.

photocropper - too funny!

This costs MUCH LESS than a camaro!! Now what you buy to put in this .... don't know!! LOL

We are already shipping one of them to Wylie, TX & the cost for that is $14.00 - just FYI.

LOL!! Your right about that - but I already have most of the pad so it has already cost him some $$$!!

I did not get to chat with him last night as he was too busy with his studies so I will try again tonight!

My wish list just keeps growing!!! SCS has really cost me some $!!!!!

BUT I LOVE IT!!!
