The same load of clothes has been in my dryer for two days now. I'm on a stampin' roll, and I just can't be bothered with such mundane things ... hubby has no idea.
What have you put off, ignored, covered up, etc. when you were in a creative stampin' zone?
 Only two days!?! I finally had to wash my sheets the second time as they sat in the washer wet for too long! LOL I have tons of clean laundry now, but it'd be nice if it would fold itself and put itself away!! LOL I'm sure DH is tired of digging thru the clean clothes hamper to find something to wear!! But if it bothers him that much, he can fold it and put it away!! LOL
 Y'all need to do what I finally did - hire a MAID!!! Between fulltime work, kids needing to go places, stamping, scrapping, etc., there was never enough time in the week.... especially not enough time for stamping and scrapping!!! I have a maid (or as they are called here, a "mamasan") come in once a week - she cleans and does all the laundry that I have at the time. Bear in mind with a family of 4, I can't let the laundry sit all week for her so she doesn't have too much of it to do. LOL, she's pretty new, so she still doesn't know where everything goes - I try to get her to leave all the clean clothes on the bed - she decides she wants to try to put them away... my clothes are in my son's closet, my daughter still has two pairs of shorts we haven't found yet,..... my son's are in my hubby's side of the closet - you get the idea. Still, having to hunt for something far outweighs having to clean!!!!
I lived in Okinawa in 1981 and we had a mamasan...she kind of became part of our family! We missed her when we left. We did not know it at the time...but she did not speak English when we first hired her. But by the end of our tour she was speaking English. We asked her how she learned to speak English and she said from watching Sesame Street with us girls! Go Big Bird!!
I would love to have a maid now....but alas all my money goes to stamps!

We lived on Kadena Air Force Base. I went to school at Kubasaki on Butler. We loved it there! We used to go to a resort called Okuma, all the time and windsurf and camp.
We live on the older part of Kadena Air Force Base. At that time they were building a lot of newer houses near Amelia Airhart Elementary School.

Everyone needs to do what I did, teach their husband to do the laundry. I have the most wonderful spouse who understands my need to create and even encourages it! I haven't done a load of laundry in about 7 years and to top it all off, he cleans the kitty litter also! I know, I'm the luckiest person but the trade off is he has playstation 1 & 2, Nintendo 64 and Gamecube, Xbox and Gameboy Advance and he gets control of the remote! Oh what I will do to be able to stamp freely.

LOL, I DO have a maid, but some might know the maid as my DH!! ;) He does the cooking and cleaning, so really about all I have is laundry and the kids, and I STILL can't find enough time!! It's this darn website's fault tho!!

lol I am so glad I am not the only one who has to occasionally wash the clean clothes! lol I blame the climate! In NM my clothes would have dried before they had a chance to mildew! lol

That's right honey, it's the CLIMATE, especially since our laundry area is outside on the lanai!! Yep, that's right, Mel said so!! ;) ;) ;) Thanks for the great excuse, I mean reason there Mel!! LOL
Not a problem! lol I blame the climate for everything! hehehe Living in humid climates like we do makes laundry a real pain! I miss being able to start the wash before I go to bed and get up and put them in the dryer....ah, yes, those were the days....Now I have to rewash! Where is the justice in that!?

I did all the laundry myself for 11 years UNTIL we had our first child. After that, my DH discovered that if he did his own, he could depend on having clean clothes to wear to work. So he decided he'd "help" me by doing his own. He says he's helping with the laundry, I say he's helping himself, LOL!
Now, he's teaching my girls to do their own. So all I have left is mine and my 5 year old son's and the household linens. And I still don't stay caught up! Mostly because I get on a roll stamping and can't be bothered to switch loads or fold and put away.
Come to think of it, I'm running out of clothes to wear! Guess I'll have to do mine today!
Wish I could afford to hire a cleaning woman. Around here having Merry Maids come in every other week would cost $200 per month. I used to have them come before kids when I was taking classes at night and it was sure nice.
I'm teaching my children how to be self-sufficient. They can get drinks, snack and even lunch while mummy hides in her room (iwish they didn't hve to ask me every 5 mionutes if they can watch tv, play computer, eat, dring etc).
As to laundry, my wonderful machine has a very loud beeper that lets everyone know that it's finished , so everyone comes and tells me (funny now they don't hear the phone, but the washing maching beeper is never missed!). Once the laudry is dry then chidlren also sort and fold it all, except the stuff that needs ironing , now that pile of clothes gets so high that DH will now do his own (usually the shirt he nedds for that day, but oh well .. )
Currently I'm ignoring the cats, who can hear that I am up, but haven't left my haven (I mean bedroom), but they are howling horriblyy, so they must need food (Pity I can't train them to get it themselves!).
Mu hubby is in for a rude awakening next week! I start a full time job again on Monday (I'm a nanny, so in a way I'm the maid everyone seems to need..LOL). I"ve been unemployed for a year so I've been able to do all the laundry and stuff like that without too much of problem. Not so next week!! I'm going to need to come home and stamp!!! He gets off at 3:00 PM so I think HE should have a turn at all the laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning, etc... What do you think??? He'll probably just wait until I have my day off for me to do it, right!?!?! I hoep not. At least not everything!!
I am glad I am not the only one that puts stamping on the top of my "TO DO LIST". I finally gave my house a good cleaning. I have the summers off and it is almost time to go back to work. Now that I have the house cleaned..I can start playing with my new stamps.

Lucky you..........LOL.......my DH is a dear around the house. The one aspect of housework that he CANNOT master, however, is doing dishes. We have a dishwasher. He cannot seem to locate the "magic door" that opens and eats dirty dishes!! LOL He swears he has an allergy to hot soapy dishwater that that it "makes me break out", as he puts it. LOL But......he vacuums, does laundry, all the yard work....and doesn't mind that I spend my $$ on stamps. Most of the time.....LOL

I, too, have forgotten laundry in the washer. I've been known to wash loads 3x before I finally remember to put them in the dryer in a timely fashion!!! I always run out to take care of errands, then come home and forget to finish the laundry.
I also hate folding!!!! Now, when my husband gets back in town and goes upstairs to change and unwind, the kids and I hang out with him in our bedroom and I stand and talk and fold at the same time. It totally takes my mind off the fact that I'm doing something that I hate! After dinner and bedtime for the kids, I go back to my stamp room!!
