I thought I was the only one!!!! I'm so jealous from reading the thank u posts about people receiving not just one but a few mailings from their secret sis. I hope mine sends something soon!!!

haven't heard yet from ss
Hi there I am fairly new here but truly lovin it...I also would very much like to know about this "S S " thing...sounds likesomething I would like to do...can someone fill me in on it...can anyone join??? thanks...
I didn't sign up, I was too intimidated about what I was supposed to send... if I had more info.. maybe next round I would sign up...
I would definitely love to be an angel SS.... if there was a need for it...
Definitely don't be intimidated!! The Secret Sister is for fun and business tips (depending on which one you are in). Even with the business tips it is a TON of fun!! I am happy to get anything!! It doesn't have to be extravagant in nature or anything - just a simple hand stamped card to say hello is GREAT!!!
I belong to another group where we do Special Sisters (not secret). I have made a lifetime friend and we just started another round - so I get to make another long distance stampin' friend!!! I love meeting new people!
Either one (Secret or not) is wonderful!!! The suspense is killing me though of who my SS is here!!!
Be sure to join next time - you won't regret it!!!

I have not heard from my Secret Sister yet either. I am going to try and be patient though and see if she is just waiting until the end of the month to send something.
I also have not heard whether the cards I sent to my Secret Sister have been recieved. I guess since they have not been returned I can assume she recieved them, but letting me know she got them would be nice. OH well. :(
If you are in the non-demo SS group, there is a post that asks you to PM Robin or me if you haven't heard from your SS. We'll try to contact your SS and make sure she is ok and still plans to participate. If she doesn't plan to participate, we will assign an angel to you.

We will change the requirements for Round 2 to include 3-4 cards per month instead of 1. We are also thinking about 1 small gift (ribbon, eyelets, handstamped something, etc.) per month instead of 1 $10 at the end of the month. We haven't decided on the gift requirement though.
If you are interested in being an angel for Round 1, whether you are participating or not, please PM me, and I'll put your name on the angel list.

Hi Christine -- good work. I was (and still am) leary about signing up for SS because I've been in other organizations that had this and I ALWAYS got stuck with a "lemon". I like the idea of the "small" gift rather than putting a $$$ on it. I'd certainly be in favor of something small, more the thought than the actual gift. Let me know what you decide and I'll then think more about signing up for round 2.
Mine got out kinda late with having to send it to another state first before it got mailed. I haven't received anything yet but I'm not pushing the panic button. I never did get an alias set up on e-mail finally had to just create another mailbox. Let's all keep a close watch for the little white truck or the man in brown next week.

uh oh. did I miss something? how are we supposed to let our sisters know that we got something, since we don't know who they are? now I feel terrible! HI! What I did was set up a secret account at yahoo. It gives my secret sister no clue who I am. It sends my email address not my name. Thats how I set it up. Also I send hallmark ecards...... where it says name I fill in Secret Sister.
I'm sure your secret sisters loved their cards..... maybe they don'y know how to post a thank you or have found it in the forums.

There is a sticky post in the Everyday Chit Chat. It is titled "Official Thank You Thread for non-demo SS" (or something like that). It is at the top of the forum. If you don't upload scans of your received things, you can post in that thread or do both!
We have a gallery also. It is under "User Groups" then "Secret Sisters."
