Hi all --
I'm relatively new here ... and some of the terminology I see has me confused.
I keep seeing posts that say Bump. What does that mean?
Also, I was just reading a post that referred to different stamp sets -- what is a BG stamp? :?
thanks for your help!
Bump pushes the post up. If no one posts on it, it will eventually drop off the list.
BG - background.
There is no stupid question except the one you don't ask! (or the one you already knew the answer to!) :-)
I am not so new and I still have problems reading the lingo. I just go with the flow, and if I REALLY need to know I will PM( personal message) the person whote started the "thread"
Ive gotten such good information from these people. They have taught me a W I D E range of things here. ( Not just stamping/scrapping)
Just be careful this site is VERY addictive!!! Get your chores done first!
Thanks Debbie -- WOW! Many of the acronyms I recognize for other message board but never knew that so many were commonly used!
I especially benefitted from learning the acronyms that specifically apply to stamping ... thanks to all for helping!
When any reply is posted to a topic it "bumps" it up to the top of the page in the forum. So if someone wants a topic moved up, but doesn't really have anything to say they just type "Bump" or "BTT" (bump to the top) or KITT (Kick It To the Top), etc.
