I thought that seeing we don't have a challenge for Thursdays, I would try and start a new "Ways to Use It Challenge as there are lots of things I would love to use more often than I do.
Since we've been talking about ways to use Going Gray, I thought it might be a good place to start as a lot of people, myself included, never use it. The challenge is to use Going Gray ink or cardstock to make a card. You can use anything else you like. I don't like limits, so the sky is the limit with this one. Use your imagination and have fun. I can't wait to see what gets posted!
Also, please put WT01 in the keyword section so that we can all find it in the gallery. (edited)
BTW, If you think of something SU you have in your drawer that is gathering dust and you need ideas for, let me know by private message. Hopefully I can use your idea for a Thursday topic and we can all think of some great new ideas for it.
Also, try to let us know if you plan to participate for this challenge. If no one posts, this thread is going to get lost.
I'm going to try the short way of posting the link to my submission for this new challenge. I had fun reading all the ways to use Going Gray in the one thread and got some great ideas. Thanks.

Hope this works! The card was just loaded, so it might be awhile before it is approved.
Okay, that obviously didn't work. Don't know why, 'cause I followed the directions on the other thread (have it open in another window so I could refer to them). Guess I'm just "stoopid" too!
Here's the link the way I know how to make it work. Sorry!

I mor stoopid cuz...I can't even remember WT01 long enough to type it in the gallery. Every week for these challenges, I can't remember what number we're on, and by the time I get to them, they're usually bumped off the front page.
I used this week's sketch challenge to make myself use gray. I'll have to use it in a more creative way later.
I'm going to upload a spinner card that I did at xmas time with going gray...I realize it's not the season, but I really liked the colors.
Check it out at my gallery
(I don't know how to add a link)
It must not be approved yet. Adding a link is very easy. After you have uploaded your card just go it like everybody else does. When only your card in on the screen go up to the URL and right click and go to copy. Then go to the thread and right click and paste before or after you have typed. It is super easy and makes it quicker to see your great cards.
Here is my first attempt at the challenge and the very first time I have ever used Going Gray. I like the silver pearl ex with it. Will have to try more tonight when I get some time.
Wow it uploaded and was approved fast. Here is the link...
Thanks for the tip smartinez!! And for the compliment. I finally uploaded and I'm very excited about it...it sure boosts the ego, especially when I'm not sure if what I'm creating is any good...I appreciate it!

I'd like to participate, but since I never know what to do with the grey, I have neither the ink, nor the paper.
I'll look at everyones stuff though, and will maybe be inspired to buy them.
It's nice to know we all have someone to be stoopid with

I really wish this one had scanned better. It really is pretty in person because it looks like stained glass. Unfortunately, nothing I did to the scanner would make it scan in well. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I had some friends who did not want to order this color because of the name. So that always sticks in my mind when ever I use it. So Going Grey always brings a smile to my face as long as it does not pertain to my hair.

Okay, I got mine done this morning. Have you all seen the black and white photos that have had color added to them? Like the dress or lips might be colored red? Well, keep that type of image in mind when looking at the card.
Here is another take I did on the Going Gray Ways to Use IT challenge. Yesterday I saw a lot of old weathered barns and tried to recreate the look with the going gray.
Here is one that I made a little while ago. But it is all gray and white! It's waiting for approval since I posted the WT01 in the keywords place.......
Here I am poking around in the honored halls where this challenge got started. I feel like I'm in a museum or something! I don't often use Going Gray ink. I usually feel like it looks just like I need to re-ink my black ink pad, but I like the way these turned out.
These were fun to do for the Inspiration Challenge #19. Check it out!
