Default Craypas/ Oil Pastels

I was given a set of these. Does anyone have any tips on using them?

I think you could put color with them onto a piece of paper and make little patches of each color, like a palette. Then, rub a q-tip or pastel applicator and use them as pastels for your projects.

These are great for doing the embossed resist technique. They're very bold and really make your image pop around the embossing.

Stamp your image in embossing ink (like Versamark) cover with clear or white embossing powder. Heat. Color over and around the embossed image with the oil pastels & smear with your fingers or a tissue. The image will resist the oil pastels and will pop out at you.
