American Idol
Okay, I FORGOT to watch American Idol tonight and am wondering who got the boot? I am thinking it would have been Michaela but while she was not at her best, I really can't stand Constantine and am half hoping he got the boot. lol
Can you please tell me who got kicked off the show tonight? Thank you!

Mikayla got booted out - thank goodness! Also in the bottom three were Anthony (3rd to last with least votes) and Nadia (2nd to last with the least votes) and of course Mikayla had the least votes of all.

Thank you! I figured it was Mikayla. I would have put Nadia, Constantine and Anthony in the bottom with her. I thought Jessica, Vonzell and Carrie did a great job Tuesday night.

I can't believe I missed tonight's show! I'm so glad someone asked for an update. Did Mikayla have an attitude when she was given the boot? I think she is way to mouthy for a 16 year old...do many teenage girls act that way? I hope not...I'm going to lay down the law with my little girl.

My husband has never watched and he did with me tonight. He could not believe it when i told him that she was 16. If my daughter tries to dress like her at that age i will have to ground her for a few years.

Hi Melissa,
Unfortunately I think in this generation many of the girls do are mouthy and dress that way. I don't think Mikayla was disrespectful, but confident. I have a 13 yo dd who is starting to get mouthier and is grounded a lot for her sassiness and disrespect. I consider myself pretty conservative, so when I see mother's allowing their daughters to dress and act that way it just makes me shudder. I understand that each person has a free will to behave they want, but as a parent I think it is up to us to teach our children modesty and respect for their bodies and other people.

She didn't show any attitude, I think she was prepared for it, she didn't seem surprised, I know she is mouthy and a little obnoxious, but i like her anyway, because she is who she is, I don't think there is any pretending with her.She did do better on her song last night than the previous night though. I think she would be a good actress. Maybe play the part of Fran Dreschers daughter in a movie, (talk about annoying) :lol:
I don't care for Constantine, but I think he will be around for quite a while longer. I thought he did real good this week.

I don't think she had any attitude and I think she knew she was getting the boot.
I don't think she's mouthy either, I think she shows her humor and sassiness.
It was her time to go, and the fact that she is only 16 and thrown into the american idol whirlwind, I actually think she has handled herself really well. Yeah, I mean her personality can be a little much, but I think she's just a spunky, edging on obnoxious personality, but I think she just had a lot of fun being there. (which she should).
These people who act like their whole world is over if they don't make it are the ones that I think have the problems.

I didn't think she had an bad attitude either. She was very confident and sassy. I didn't really like the way she dressed. The bad attitude thing does happen often in girls that age. I remember when I was younger I had an attitude. I think it is just part of growing up.

All though I do not like the way she dressed and she sometimes is a little on the mouthy side I did like Mikayla.
I liked the fact that she had the most positive attitude I have seen on any 16 year old. The ones I have known are trying to find there place in the world, and just have low self esteem, are depressed,and going through the many emotions of life, I will miss her.
The song chioce was bad and she didn't sing it well at all. I think we will be seeing her again somewhere.

She didn't have a bad attitude when she got the boot. The first time I saw her on the show I got the sense that she's either channeling Barbra Streisand or Fran Dresher. If that's not her normal attitude/mannerisms then she's one smart cookie - because we will definitely be seeing her again - maybe the show where they have the "B" celebrities live in a house.

I like Makayla. I didn't like her voice, I think Simon summed it up when he told her that her confidence exceeds her performances. I think she could be a lot better with more intensive vocal training.
I also agree with the other poster that she is an excellent role model for young women. She was very poised and self confident, if only every young girl felt free to be themselves like that!
I also agree that she has many great things in store for her, but I think this is a girl that will improve and mellow with age. I think because she comes off so confident that we forget that she is still a teenager, and teenagers can be overbearing and over the top sometimes. I think she needs time to decide who she really is...

i can't beleive that all of you don't like Constantine! I love that guy because he's so cute and not the normal "idol" material. I also like Nadia because she's quirky and she really puts all of herself into each performance. I have to say that the last one was the worst I have seen though. I also can't stand Anthony because he's always singing the cheesy easy listening tunes, he needs to stop being so corny.
