It's about the only 1/2 price item I haven't bought this month. I'm torn and only have a few days to decide. Any thoughts on this set? Will it get enough use?
I finally ordered this set. It's not really my 'style,' but it makes some very good and simple cards. This is what some of our less experienced customers are lookng for. I tend to forget that they don't have the time or inclination to hand paint and embellish as much as I do.
Ummm, I am guessing Mamakimberly hasn't seen this yet...she's a little...shall we say, MILITANT about this set...she will probably be doing some evangelizing soon, if she isn't already!
Seriously, it is a great set that does need a little imagination because it doesn't look like much just looking at it. Terrific for quick and easy, versatile images. I personally love it and use it all the time.

Oh my goodness! I sleep with Shapes & Shadows at night. If I were strained on a desert island I would want this set with me. I am thinking of legally changing my name to Shapes & Shadows. Whether you've been stamping for 20 minutes or 20 years, you need to have this set. I use it on many cards I make- some element in it. I love the versatility. I would rather have a stamp set I can use 1,000 ways than one that has one nice image.
BUY THIS SET!

When I first saw the set in the catty - I though ewe yuk -- well, I am eating my words now! I went to a demo and we used it -- and of course I HAD to have it! Yes - buy it!!!!
This was one of the few preview sets we demonstrators could purchase before the release of the Catalog last summer. Truthfully, I wasn't crazy about any of them, but did purchase S&S...figured I needed something new to demo with and I usually love the 2-step, overlay sets. It wasn't my style, but I really hated the other sets.....
Well, I am not sorry I got it. It's such a fun, fun set to play with. It is so fabulous for so many occasions. So, to answer your question....
YES, you NEED it! Get it now before the sale ends!
OK guys!!! That was the ONLY one I wasn't going to get!! Now .... I'll have to reconsider I guess! Just spend my money - I can always go out to the tree in the yard & get more, huh???

Just to add to the comments....Yes!! I just went to a SU party and it was used for cards. At first I thought I don't need it, but then really thought about it and said, Yes!! They will make great easy to make cards. They are super for everyday and great for Christmas because of the snowflake and trees. So, it is very versatile. Go to the gallery and you will see some great ideas. Also, it is half off...can't beat that at all!!!
Oooh! I bought S & S last year and still love it. Clean and simple, it can be dressed up, down, and sideways!
