Default IDSO Camouflage pattern

Can SOMEONE please help!!! I am wanting to do a camouflage vest for a fathers day card swap and I'm having a heck of a time making a camo. pattern. I've tried sponging, daubers, direct to paper. . . does anyone have any ideas?!?!?!?! I have the vest pattern, so I'm covered there.
Thanks!
Trisha

Default camo

I needed camo too last summer. I scanned in a piece of fabric then printed that out on cardstock. I can send you a copy if you'd like.

Just a thought but have you tried cutting shapes form the scrap rubber you get from a SU set? It shouldn't take long to cut some shapes.

If you you don't have a vest to look at I'm sure you could find one online.

If you start off with a tan cardstock you'd just have to add green. I think it would work well and you just gave me an idea for myself to try.

I guess I would look at puzzle pieces and sort of distort the pieces to make a pattern for camo. Just a thought!

Not sure where I got it from, nevertheless, I have camouflage patterned paper that I can e-mail you if that will help you.

GREAT NEWS!!! With all of your ideas I decided (and I don't know why I didn't think of this). . . I took a picture, using my digital camera, of my DH camo. that he wears for hunting. . . downloaded the pic. to my computer and printed it out on a full sheet of Close to Cocoa CS and cut the vest pattern out of that. I still have leftover printed CS to make a few scrapbook pages of his recent moose hunt. If I can get my scanner installed into my new computer and working, I'll scan the card and post it. It turned out SOOO GOOD!!!
Thanks again for all your help, I LOVE this site.

I posted my first card on SCS, it is my camouflage vest. . . I don't know how to place a link in this message (can someone tell me how?) so you'll have to go to my gallery and see it. Let me know what you think. The eyelets on the vest REALLY are only orange, they look like barely banana in the picture!
Thanks again everyone for your help.
