So...I really love Petal Prints, however, as a new demo I have to be conscious of my budget and what I order. If I order Petal Prints, I won't be able to demo it after the summer mini goes away. I'd have to hope it makes it in to the catty next year right?
It's a *wonderful* set! Have you seen the gallery here? We're still getting additions daily, I think! I love it, and it is one set that is a definite keeper, regardless of whether it is in the new catalog next year or not. It's such a wonderful, versatile set!
I am not a demo, and I am going to purchase this set because it is so beautiful and there is so much you can do with it. I go with what I love, and I have seen so many wonderful ideas using this set, I would be shocked :shock: if it doesn't make it in next years' catalog. If you love it, I would buy it.
I too am a demo, and while many people have made many wonderful samples of this set, I'm not going to buy it. I can't use it again after this month for workshops, and I don't love it enough for my own use (there are too many others!)
So, it just depends how much you like it. You can always take similiar flower sets and substitute those when case-ing any samples, and if it does make it into next years catalog, you can always order it then if you still love it.
i am planning on buying both pp and la dee daa. push it in your workshops that it is only avail. until end of aug. it will be like beanie babies...omg! it is leaving, i have to have it!!!
I bought it months ago and I can't stay away from it! I love it ~ and I'm sure it will make next year's catty....how could it NOT?!
Actually, there was an SAB set (can't remember the name) once that "everyone" thought would be in the next catty because it was sooooo popular. It didn't go in the catty because it was so popular. I guess SU! thought there wasn't anybody else left to buy it! I mean everyone had already ordered it - not that everyone disappeared!
If you really like this set, I say go for it. Because WHAT IF it doesn't make into next years catty. This is a nice set and I am ordering it just for myself (I'm not a demo, but if I was, I would still order it) There are so many wonderful cards in the gallery with this set that you can use it for a long time just for your own personal use.
I am a demo, on a VERY tight budget right now (my Mom is paying for me to have a box of new catalogs). I love this set, and loved it right when I saw it. However, I have not ordered and I won't be ordering it. I'd rather get a set from the Holiday Mini that I can demo for the full time and use to make my Christmas Cards.
Maybe that is something you could cinsider. Unless there is nothing in the Holiday Mini that you like, then see if there is something in the new catalog that you could get more mileage out of.
Looking from a purely business perspective I would skip it as you only have until the end of the month to demo it and that is it. If it is in next year's catalog you can reconsider. I only buy the sets from the mini I cannot personally live without.
Thanks for everyone's input. I think I'm going to have to pass on it for now. I just can't afford to invest in stamp sets (no matter how gorgeous..and this one is!!) if I won't be able to use it for business for more than a month. Too bad it's not in the catty this year!
