Oh my goodness, I just got Cool Cats today and boy I love this set!! I made several cards with it and one was for my niece who is turning two on Saturday and I cant get enough of it. Its such a versatile set. the background stamp alone is worth the price of the set let alone all the great ideas i got from the gallery on scs.
I paired the green galore and the pink passion together with basic black ink and it turned out GREAT!! not because of me but you really cant go wrong with this set..

I'm so glad you love your set! I'm not a cat person but after seeing some of the samples in the gallery...I've got to have it!!! Going to order it next month...this month was the 50% off sets! You should post some of your cards...would love to see them! Enjoy!
Good...I just ordered that set on Friday. I am a cat lover and still thought I could do without it when I placed my mini catalog order on the first. Then, I decided I really needed it. I am glad you are so happy with it I think the crown is what really got me. I have a couple of "royal" kitties at my house.

I am so not a cat lover, but I had to have this set. After seeing all the wonderful pieces of art in the gallery, this was on my "MUST HAVE" list. I just got it, so I will play with it tomorrow.
I'm still resisting, but don't know how much longer I can hold out. I don't even like cats ( well at least my Mom's cat-she's means and bites). I keep watching all the beautiful samples in the gallery and I'm starting to cave.
I am a DOG person, but I finally caved and bought it. I have been playing away. I just don't know who to send the cards to. :lol: We are all dog people! Perhaps the nieces...

I wasn't going to buy this set, didn't think it was that great. Of course until I saw all the cute cards made with it. Especially the one Iris made, so when I rec'd mine a couple of days ago, I had to CASE it. The set is adorable.

I'm also holding out to see if this makes the next catalog. Not a "cat" person and I don't have any little girls, but this set keeps calling out to me... Buy me... Buy me....

I would have passed on this set if not for all of the really cute cards that have been uploaded. I decided it would be perfect for my grandaughter's birthday party theme. Can't wait until it gets here. Mr. Brown is due tomorrow!!
I still can't find enough about this set that is making everyone go goo goo over.I'm a cat lover I have 2 cats myself.but I still don't know.when I look at it I look at the crown,o.k. I'll never use that first of all.Even though I do have a daughter.she hates anything girly.so the thought of putting a crown on her uh uh.the perfume bottle.I daught it.Flowers maybe as a background stamp,like someone else mentioned abouve.Presents yah o.k. for a birthday,I can see that.But Sorry guys I just don't think the cat is all that cute.
O.k. Don't all squash me at once now,for not liking the set.

It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first,only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
I just used the french script background on pretty in pink paper and then matted it onto basic black - but before that I used my square punch to make a "window" at the top and stamped "you're the cat's meow" in craft white. Then using CRAFT black - I stamped the cat at the bottom. It made a wonderful SOLID image, I only had a couple spots I used my black stampin' marker to fill in! Oh and I made a black and white gingham bow at the top! So cute - now if I could hook up my scanner or download pictures onto this computer I'd share!
This is 1 of the 5 projects we are going to do at my class in april! The theme for april is girly girl projects - I think this works!
I'm not a huge cat person, but I think you helped me decide to get this set! I've been eyeing it for sometime.....and love all the cards I've seen made with the set.

I am on the verge of getting it myself. My SIL has asked me to make some cards for her to distribute throughout the year, and she is a cat person, so I think I will get the kitty and play around with her, all in the good fun of passing the cards along to her!
