Hi all, Lisa, last years' coordinator was not able to host this challenge so I have decided to help out and keep the challenge going. I hope I can come close to the great job she did!
So to anyone interested:
Join the Holiday 2007 Monthly Challenge!!!!
This year's challenge was a big success! Thanks to everyone who participated.
All you have to do is complete 10 Christmas cards every month up to and including November and you should have plenty of cards to send out for the holidays!!
You can join anytime during the year. Just let me know what month you want to start and what month you will be finished (depending on the number you need to make). The idea is NOT to stress. If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine. Remember, the whole idea behind this challenge is to make life easier. Trust me, I know how busy December can be, why not try to get one project, your holiday cards, all done by the end of November!
Make your cards any way you like - make 100 of the same card 10 at a time or make a different set of 10 each month or make each card completely different and unique. You decide, these are your cards. They should be how you want them to be. Just post to this thread to let me know you want in. Then each month when you complete your 10 cards, upload your photos (use CC in the title) and post a message to this thread.
As in incentive, There will be a small prize to the person who completes their cards first EACH MONTH. For each month you complete (before the end of the following month), your name will be put in a drawing for the "year end prize basket�.
If you'd like to donate stuff for prizes (small items you may have laying around, SU! or non-SU, even stuff you have made), I would really appreciate the help. Postage stamps would also be a great help. This is not a requirement to join this challenge.
Sign me up too! I'm game. I got a lot of card done this year but was intimidated by the challenge...I think I'm up to it now and I definitely would like to give it a try this year. Thanks.
Hi!!! Thanks so much for taking this over for 2007!!!! It was a lot of fun but I have some health issues now that have made me cut back on some things.....
BUT......I DO want to join for 2007 so please put me down!! :-)
I just want everyone aware that I will be incommunicado on Friday and Saturday, so don't worry if you don't hear from me right away.
I am going shopping at the outlets in New Hampshire!!!!!

I was so glad I did this last year. It was nice having all the cards made ahead of time.

Speaking as a person who still has to make 90% OF HER 2006 cards (I plan to stamp them on my Mexican Riviera cruise in two weeks -- they'll go out kind of late but still before Christmas) I am definitely signing up for this challenge -- January through November!

WOOHOO! Put me down, please! I did it for 2006 and it was the best thing I ever did!
I thought I mentioned somewhere that I want to do January through November. But I cannot find out where it is if I did it. Probably just in my mind....hehe!

I'd like to join in on this as well. I wish now I had jumped in over the summer when i really started getting involved in this sight. Then I wouldn't be scrambling to get them done now.
