Default Anyone have a source for cheap envelopes?

I like the square fold in the back instead of the triangle. I was using clear but now am being charged more to mail for those ones.

I'm looking for the standard quarter sheet sized card. Thanks!

I buy all of my envelopes (and most of my non-colored cardstock) at Paper Zone. They are pretty much identical to the SU envelopes/cardstock, and much cheaper. There are several Paper Zones near me but they also have a website - www.paperzone.com. Twice a year they have customer appreciation days where everything in the store is 15% off. I stock up then! (Just had one a couple weeks ago.) If you sign up on their email list, they'll send you notice of the sales and cool projects. HTH

I got 100 envelopes for $6.50 at Office Max. They work well with my cards and are a nice quality.
I haven't tried any websites yet, but will check out the ones listed.

I get mine from an e-bay store. I think the guy who runs it uses the username traders_ect, but am not sure if that's 100% correct. If you just do a search for 1/4 fold envelopes, you should be able to find something. I paid $42.00 (after shipping) for 1000 white envelopes.

Hope that helps!

I bought mine from www.actionenvelopes.com. But, now that we have Kelley Paper, I just buy them there. And I do like the clear envies from www.clearbags.com. I've been fortunate that they haven't tried to charge me extra for postage!

Jessica,
I just checked out the website and it looks pretty good, but I am confused as the proper envelopes to purchase for the 1/4 fold.... :? I would like to purchase envelopes in white, vanilla, confetti white and cream but am unsure which to purchase. They have so many names, it is hard to figure out which would be the proper color with the square flap.
Could you possibly help me?
Do you get your white square envelopes from them as well?
What about their white and vanilla cardstock?
Thanks for your help!

I to send out most of my cards in clear envelopes, and have been fortunate enough not to have to pay extra postage yet on them. I get my envelopes from Office Max when they have sales, but have found some on ebay when I really need them.

Explain that to me. Why are people boycotting WalMart. I mean, most of the people that work there are idiots and you have to show ID at 40 to buy Crazy Glue, but why are people boycotting them? I wouldn't have any place to shop here without WalMart and Target.

I have purchased the Walmart envelopes several times in both the colored and the white, I have also picked some up at Anchor paper they have an outlet by my house. They have a large variety and very nice quality paper.
I ordered from clear bags a week or two ago, they do have some nice stuff but get someone to split it with you - with handling and shipping my order was about $10 additional. They have a bunch of colored clear envelopes on clearance 50 for $2.00 I think I paid and they are pretty nice.

I believe that when I bought 1000, it was like 36 for 1000 and then like 11 for shipping. But, I think I got other stuff, too! It's been a while! And, I go through envelopes a lot.

I just bought response card envelopes from www.paperandmore.com yesterday. I like their flat rate shipping and I love that I can buy small quantities. They have the square flap as well as the baronial flap.

The prices at www.envelopemall.com look pretty good, too, although you have to call in your order.

The standard envelope for cards is A2 size (4-3/8 x 5-3/4).

I think it is because WalMart is taking over the world! They build these huge shopping stores and they take away business from other smaller businesses.

I just placed my order with action envelopes...the pricing with them was the best from any of the sites posted, and it was easy to figure out the envelope size and color that I needed. Thanks Joy for the tip!

I was needing some the other day and priced the three office supply houses and this is what I found. This was for white, A2, 100/box:

office Depot $5.68
Office Max $6.59
Staples $6.58

But the shipping is really the pits. I'll just have make my own for a while or wait until I can get to a real store.

I get my envelopes both white and vanilla from The Paper Zone. They are $9.95 for a box of 250.

Does anyone know a good source for the square envelopes? I know it costs more to mail them, but I have seen some really cute ideas. I figure I can pay the extra in shipping, if I can save on the envelopes
